I do not live near a coal mine. I do have knowledge of speakers and microphones. One converts soundwaves into electricity… the other converts electricity into sound waves.

Now before goddie comes in here and corrects me on my terminology... Yes i know its more complicated than that. Yes I know that is not the correct terminology. NO I dont really care.
