Atempting Breeze Tiles

So this will be the first time I have ever used breeze tiles, I would like my game to use them also. I have to get used to making maps with these tiles though. This is the first map, the starter zone where new characters spawn. Give me constructive criticism please.

The paths are retarded and blocky, you should have smoother tile transitions without such harsh corners.
The fail RMXP engine shadows don't work here, Eclipse doesn't support alpha blending so remove that crap or fake it with dithering.
Every tree looks the exact same, get some variety.
The ground variety and grass is a bit too consistent, try adding more detail or such.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Thank you for your advice. Oh btw, I just looked through my PM's and we used to be decent friends back in the day haha. Last PM from you was in 2007\. As for the tree shades, I'm waiting on a PM for that. Other than that the ground tiles that's how the breeze tiles come.

It's just too simple, Breeze's tileset lacks a lot of stuff(detail), you'll have to be creative and make the map stand out more.

Use this as an example:

As you can see, his ground isn't as boxy(is that a word? o.o), I know it's rmxp's mapping which is different because they have auto tileset, but it's still possible to make it like that.

It also has water in which again isn't boxy.

Just study the map and see what you can do.

Reading this won't help you, mapping is teaching yourself.

I agree with Kreator & gone55; to make it look better I would suggest the two options they offered: either rework the tiles a bit (nothing too fancy, and if you're allowed to under breeze's rules), or implement superior, more dynamic mapping. You could even go about doing both. I actually do love breeze and it looks decent but why not go for phenomenal? xD
