Harris6310
I want to know how to send data that can be different for each user from the server to the client. I don't want anybody to give me some code and tell me where to put it in. I want someone to tell me how to do it, and then I will find out how to code it myself. Robin
It's the same as sending data normally.
Harris6310
I don't know how to send data normally. This is how I think it goes:Data in user.bin => Server => Packet => ClientIs that right?

Warconn
I am having this same problem, i cannot figure out how to send a basic packet to and from the client/server. I was able to do this with 2.7, and i just made the switch to EO, and i havent been able to figure it out.Any Help?
Robin
Add the packet headers to the enumerationsCreate a buffer instance, write the packet header, write the variables you want, send the data, clear the buffer.Add a ByAddress call to your receiving procedure, copy & paste the procedure and re-name it, create a buffer instance, dump the packet data into the buffer then read it off variable by variable, then close it. Warconn
Ooooohh i didnt add the enumerations…Thanks for the quick response, i would really like to use EO for a project, but i wasnt able to do any real edits because of the lack of packet sending ;)
