I can see where TimeBomb is coming from its not like she is CRB'd cleared or anything and there is a high possibility the majority of users (now that it has been posted here) will be of a young age. Now I can see that offending a lot of people, any game that had such content would be rated accordingly but this isnt in place as far as I know. Just imagine some kid talking to her about "what sex toys if any, she uses on the Job" then a parent checks on their child to see the type of talk going on. There are also places that this activity is illegal and I would be worried for Ambardia Owner of the possible consequences from holding this type of 'event'.
It is a sex worker answering questions about the nature of her job, porn can be classed as any form of sexual act. Of course they are not one and the same :-\ you dont have porn with your lover do you? You have Sex with them, porn is the result of media being generated from it. With Ambardia being a game and the talk being of a sexual nature with no restrictions to safely ensure the users are of a legal age and safe, I think this is irresponsible and pointless.
Personally if I had kids and I had blocked porn and such activities with a filter yet they were playing a game and it featured such content Id be pissed.

I support this because people could actually learn something from a source that is not exactly out there for everyday people to obtain. I hope these type of events continue(and not just about the sex industry).

I think that 90% of players will troll and ask stupid questions like- "lolol do prostitutes do anal", and so forth. No offence, but it seems like you've planned this event out if impulse, because you just so happened to know someone who was in this field. You should think it through more. I mean come on, it's a video game.

If my son was playing a game and it then featured such topics I would be pissed at the Game. My Son didnt ASK for such content to appear in his usually ok to play game. Do you see World of Warcraft featuring "Live with Loose Lilly"? Yes Cybersex goes on in games at times, which can be reported and other measures put in place to reduce it, but to implement it into a game which is not related to it :-\ , send them to the forum, read wikipedia, but implemented into the game, thats not controversial, thats just random… I know a killer perhaps I should make access to a chat with him a level 100 quest in my game about fairies and sunflowers.

  Prostitutes are not sex workers. They are criminals (unless it's Nevada). Sex workers are the people who legitimately work for legal company's. Mostly the 1-800 live phone jobs or the internet web cam jobs. Also, becouse they have a real union they help runaways and homeless people steer clear of illegal operations. Sex workers are also the people who work for sex toy shops, sex therapy support groups and believe it or not  OBGYN's are members.

I guess the point I'm trying to get at is your son does not need to participate, if he is asking questions then he sought it out.  As long as its legal I can't see there being a problem.
People are just looking for anything to complain about nowadays. :(

How would you feel if one of them was playing a game they always play and then it featured a sex chat - btw making any distinction between a sex worker and a prostitute is splitting hairs, they are offering a sexual service for payment.
Its not simply about complaining its taking the role as game designers seriously - certain game designers postpone releases due to things that have happened in the news - thats being responsible.
Now should that event occur and it is a well informed discussion as the owner apparently thinks it will be - what has been achieved? Underaged users, Users who likely have no intent of contacting a sex line (which I might add you need to be 18+ for) etc will be informed of 'Sex Work' by one person. You want to know about that information Google it or host it in a proper chat room with a few safety measures in place.
But it appears there are only a few that can see what Im getting at - so each to their own - we all know what will happen at this event deep down, hell it could even be a ploy for the Sex Worker to gain some interest via private PM's who knows.

if your'e allowing your son to play a multiplayer game filled with nerds hyped up on hormonal rage yelling "cunt!" at everyone that pisses them off but draw the line with sexual based questions with a professional simply because you haven't taken the time to tell him about the birds and the bees, then you probably shouldn't be letting your son on the internet.
And no, contrary to popular parental belief, an MMO is not a safe place to let your underage child run around in.  I've had a discussion about how to use your vibrating tooth brush against your vagina in general chat on WoW.
To answer your question, no, I don't mind that my cool 13 year-old cousin likes to check out beach bods on the internet.  He got the internet prepared for what it had to offer.
