Fenrir: Blood Oath

**A single player Adventure, using only custom made content.**
_Fenrir is a casual game, being produced with the RPG Maker XP engine_

"Fenrir: Blood Oath" takes place in the time of the vikings, utilizing Norse mythology. Fenrir is fated to destroy Odin, and has everyone is in a state of panic. who will set course to defend Odin and his court? Many young men and women will try, but only one shall be named champion and defender of Valhalla.

The game starts out with you in your village, when all of the sudden, heavy fog rolls in. you hear a viking war horn just on the other side of the village. you run quickly home to where your sister is. you hear roaring, running, slicing, and howling. You decided to get you and your sister out of there. you sneak out of the back door, but it fails. you are immediately confronted by large men, bearing cleavers and axes, all dressed in wolf skins. The are men who serve Fenrir, the wolf-like beast. They kidnap your sister, and bash you over the head, knocking you out. You wake in the hut of a strange, mysterious old man. He tells you of the men that took your sister, and killed the village people. He spoke of Fenrir and how Odin is in danger. He then leaves the hut, with a busy mind, something you are left guessing for. He comes back with a clean cloak, one that fits you. He tells you to put it on, and then he takes you outside.

He speaks of magic and mysterious of the world. He then begins to teach you… Autumn arrives, and a ship is found nearing your old village. You are cautious of its habitants, but go looking anyways. Its an old, yet strong man, followed by a large crew of about 15\. He spots you, and demands you come to him. You do as he says, and he slaps you on the back and asks about your village. you explain, and a grim face falls upon him. He tells you that his wife and child were taken by them as well. He then explains that he is off on a voyage to Valhalla to speak with Odin and be granted information about Fenrir, and given the tools to defeat him. He asks you to join him, and you agree.

**Gunnar**
_(WIP Sprite)_
This is you. you may choose to be a warrior, brave and courageous,
or a coward, a mutt in all you do.

**Hjort**
The old man that finds you, and brings you to his hut.
He is wise, and knows of many mysterious of this world, including hidden magics.

**Eirik**
The old man that arrives at your village on a viking ship of his own.
He is an explorer, fearless, a leader, and he is viewed highly by his crew.

**Finn**
Eirik's first hand man. Brave in all he does, yet submissive to rule and authority.
You will find him to be a noteable ally, and beloved friend.

**Odin**
The Norse god that is considered the chief of gods.
He rules over all in his great hall, Valhalla. He is not to be trifled with.

**Fenrir**
He is a monstrous Wolf that is destined to kill Odin, and cause trouble.
He is a bloodthirsty beast, and must be stopped. This is your main goal: to kill him.

* A Pixel Artist (Must be able to do hair)
* An Excellent Mapper (who can follow instruction)
* A Researcher (To research Norse Mythology in depth)
* A Composer (must be skilled)

I would TOTALLY be down to be a researcher.  I have a book on norse mythology already, although it is short.  I also have access to many other books in a local bookstore that is based on norse culture.  I can also read up on norse mythology on the internet.

Reminds me of when I tried to pick my first fight with a fox on H&H. I got slaughtered, and spectacting from a boat was Robin, who soon after said. "You fucking Australian cunt, trying to pick a fight with everything!"
