Blueprint Genesis

[Techno 5.0]

February 2nd, 2107, a new planet is found. Details discussing the process of discovery are confidential and cannot be discussed with the public at this time. The planet was found in another solar system just 10,826,040,000 km from our solar system. The Planet shows earth like features such as oxygenic air, running water, and trees.

October 3rd, 2111, A large group of 100 families traveled to the new planet. they arrived in five years do to hyper-speed burnout on a quarter of the way. They later built an enormous City and they called it Foxton in the year of 2123.

The study of hominis-Mutatio, also known as Human Alteration had begun around the year 2102\. Some scientists believed that humans were capable of much stronger feats than they had originaly anticipated. Some believe that studying this subject could open the doors to possible understanding how to give humans "Abilities" such as Pyromancing (the ability to manipulate the forces of fire), Chronomancing (ability to manipulate time itself) and Illusiomancing (the ability to manipulate reality).

But those who spoke of the science were either quieted quickly or disposed of in conspiracy. A teacher was discussing with her students about the subject. later that day she was reported, fired and in her sleep, death.

Hominis-Mutatio was not a dead subject. In fact, half of the scientists that traveled to the new planet had believed the science to be completely possible, but without the proper funding it would be considered impossible.

December 31st, 2124, Aliens officially discovered. known as the Sha' kati, the alien inhabitants requested the humans to leave their planet. The mayor of Foxton replied saying,

"We are here to start anew. Leave us in Peace, we mean no harm to your species."

When word got around that the Mayor's intentions were not violent, a racial uproar against the Sha' kati began. In the process the Mayor was gunned down and a new much more violent man replaced him. The Man's name was Luke Armin. He had 5 other brothers and each of them believed in the Hominis-Mutatio science. Luke declared war against the Sha' Kati. He also requested funding from the Scientific Studies Association (SSA) so that he could build stronger defences to keep his people and city safe. But in reality he was giving the money to the scientists so they could create the new humans. Luke called it:

Blueprint Genesis is a full 3D top down (Maybe changing to 3RD Person), Action-RPG that is being built with UDK (Unreal Development Kit). The game will be released roughly during the year 2014\.

Features

>! -Deep RPG system (Watch how your actions impact the game world)
>! -Skills System (learn new skills by surviving throughout the game)
>! -character customization (Create your own character. edit facial,body color,hairstyle,age etc)
>! -Destructable Environments (Standing in a field of grass and using a flamethrower isnt such a good idea::standing on a cliff and a rocket comes right at the base, your probably gonna fall::placing bombs at the base of a building, itll probably crumble)
>! -Achievement system (Upon getting achievments you can unlock secret items you can use in multiplayer)
>! -Stronger AI (Dificulty settings, Easy, Medium, Hard, Impossible, Frenzy. The only thing that changes in these difficulty settings is the AI.)

Characters

>! Lee (The Player): The nickname given to the player upon rescue is Lee which means Shelter. The Personality of Lee depends on the player's actions.
>! Professor Davidson: The man that believed in the hominis-Mutatio science and also experimented on abducted patients. He recently escaped his job and joined with the Renegade Soldiers. He later became the leader of the group.
>! Gage: Gage is a hard headed, religious man who believes in getting the job done. He can be very quiet and there is a part of him that is very tender and kind. he is captain of the squad of "Specials". his ability is Pyromancing
>! Raven: She is a deadly sniper. her aim is brilliant and without fault. she rarely misses her target. She is very quiet and rarely shares her input on a situation. Her left arm had been destroyed in an earlyer battle which she ended up replacing it with a robotic one. Her ability is Chronomancing

The New Planet

Sha' Kati

>! Sha' Kati are an alien lifeform that live on the newly discovered planet. They average out to be 6 feet tall and have greyish purple rouch scales for skin.
They have four fingers and have 8 long tentacals for hair. These tentacles help determine their age. the longer they are, the older they are and visa versa.
They have two eyes with two pupils that are diagonally aligned. right next to their eyes are their two sets of nostrils and one big mouth. The nostrils are not like Humans. These nostrils look like deep wounds in the face.

>! Rights of passage:
A sha' Kati starts off known as a Hatchling: a newly spawned sha' Kati that has to prove his worth to the clan. In doing so he must enter The Rights of passage a year after creation. Sha' Katis grow very fast in the first year.
>! The rites of passage has three steps:
>! 1\. You must race the other 150 hatchlings and be alive at the end of the race. You must travel across the kerodjuhn desert without food and water. You are not allowed to eat anything or drink anything.
>! 2\. You must jump a very large gap. The gap is a 189 yard jump. Those who miss plunge into the darkness below, where if they are too live will be forgotten and left to die.
>! 3\. You must fight the remaining survivors to the death. If you equally match a fellow hatchling then the two of you become bloodbound.
Upon being a winner of the 3rd step, you must choose which fallen hatchling was the toughest. You must skin his skull and where it into battle so he will see he was not strong enough to make it this far.

Beastiary

>! Condorgin: a giant bird. About as big as two humans standing on eachother, the Condorgin bird feads on almost anything. It can blend in with its environment very quickly and is a very dangerous predator.
>! Ferrill: a vert quick and frightening scaley skin like a predator. it hunts in packs of 4-6 and can easily overwhelm its prey in about 2-3 mins.
>! Guhnin: a very majestic horse like creature with 2 legs. it has a long tail with a large needle at its end. its head is long and contains sharp teeth and a two horns on its head.
>! Stalker: stalkers are dangerous at night. their skin is jet black which allows them to hide in the darkness. they step very lighly and are able to climb on any surface. They are very fast and always jump on its prey to knock it down and then begin to inject its paralyzing venom. Stalkers are very skinny and boney and look to be similar to the art of a Goblin. they have jagged teeth and are only seen during the night if seen at all.

Renegade Soldiers

>! A couple years after the mayors death and Lukes rule, a few people got together to try and plan an overthrow. As their plan was blocked each way, they didnt know what to do next. another year passed by and children and young adults were being abducted from their homes. the few people that had gotten together later found out about the Facility that was experimenting on the children and young adults. Even though this was a horrible thing, it helped them recieve more members. When they reached more than 100 members they called themselves, The Renegade Soldiers.
>! The Traditional armor that a renegade soldier wears is:
a long black trench-coat, red armband, gas mask and hard body armor on the inside.
>! Their Traditional Weapon is:
M4 Carbine with heartbeat sensor, Compact Mercury indused Bullets, Scope with Red laser light.

Classes

>! The Illusionist is a very strong class. It grants the player the ability to move objects, make temporary copies of himself, and manipulate enemies via mind control.
>! Chronomancer control time. They can alter the age of any living thing, they can pause time, slow down time, move faster than their enemies, they can slow down time for a specific object.
>! Pyromancers are the most powerfull and desctructive in the game. Players using this class can manipulate the forces of fire. they can shoot fire from their hands, cause explosions with fire and many other things.

Skills

>! Athletics: Governs how fast you move (Faster reloading, Faster/longer running, faster Swimming, Wont run out of Fatigue as quickly)
>! Acrobatics: Governs how high you can  jump and if the landing can kill you or not.
>! Mind Power: governs your overall mind power (Just like Magic,)
>! Comprehension: Governs how easy your are able to understand things (Language, Writings, Ancient pictures/puzzels)
>! Heavy Armor: Governs your ability to wear heavy armor
>! Light Armor:Governs your ability to wear light armor
>! Big Weapons
>! Small Weapons
>! Hand to Hand
>! Technology
>! *Illusion
>! *Pyrotism
>! *Chronotism

>! Speech
>! Luck

Multiplayer

>! 2-30 players
>! Deathmatch-everyone fights everyone. the winner is determined by score. you obtain 10 points per kill. and score limit is 750 points. time limit is 8 mins.
>! Team Deathmatch-2 teams fight eachother (possibly could be 4 teams) the winner is determined by score. you obtain 10 points per kill. and score limit is 750 points. time limit is 8 mins.
>! Capture the flag-travel into enemy territory and take their flag and return it to your base to win the game.
>! Headquarters- capture and defend multiple headquarter spots from enemy players. you gain 3 points every second you have a captured headquarters. You lose 10 points upon losing a headquarters. this game last 10 mins
>! Eleminate- normal team deathmatch except you do not respawn.
>! Racing- Race 11 other players on Air-Splicers on a very dangerous race. winner is determined by reaching the finish line first.
>! Vehicles will be in multiplayer:
>! Air-Splicer: pretty much a hover motorcycle with two cannons that circle around the motocycle. it is very fast and very dangerous.
>! The Voyager: a sort of big car that hovers above the ground for quicker movement. it has one drivers seat and one seat up on top which allows the person in the seat to control two 8 round mini-rocket cannons.

Suggestion : Make 16 Unique Characters each with different personas and skills that makes each person essential to their party i.e a tracker a doctor an alchemist a fighter etc would be badass. Otherwise looks wicked hit me up on msn ninja, [email protected]

lol thansk for reminding me because i was going to do this but i forgot to put it down.
you will have a party of maybe 6 characters
you can choose to have only 3 players in with you at a time.
much like mass effect your choices effect how the characters like and react to you.
it also determines how they will die if they die.

ill start making the list of team members available when i find time. because right now im pretty busy

ive finally created the planet tho
now im just needing to make the map
