escfoe2
A simple question here: I am working on a Bingo game right now that has clients connecting to a server… I am using a packet system identical to Eclipse's... The reason for doing this is because I feel the system is easy to use yet effective... Would that be considered plagiarism :icon_crap: and if so how might I get permission to use the code? Thanks in advance!!! XD
Aydan
its open source, you can use whatever you want without permission. Although giving credit in a read me or if your game has a credits page is always a nice thing to do :)
escfoe2
Indeed I agree! Eclipse is an awesome game creation software with an even better community, so I will definitely supply credit where deserved… Something along the lines of: "Think this game is nifty? Check out TouchOfDeathProductions @ ~~ [http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/) ~~ Home of a free 2D MMORPG MAKER! The creations you can make are absolutely ENDLESS!!! Try for FREE now! Includes OPEN source which helped in the making of this game!!!" Tell me what you think about that being used in credits ehh?? Its well deserved XD
