Guild System

Heres a little showoff of the Zacaras Empire Guild System. Everything is fully coded and working now. During the guild creation you pick your guilds name, your guilds tag, and your tag color. Your guilds tag is what other players see beside your name. With the tag color selection you click on the color box that you want your tag to be and when your tag is displayed ingame thats the color it will show up as. The guild system allows leaders to change the Guild Message of the day. It also displays all members of the guild.

Ya I know, I gotta play around with the fonts a little more. Or just put the fonts into the actual picture so I don't have to use vb6 fonts.

Looks good, maybe you could draw the Guild Tag / Name above the player instead?

Naw, I'm keeping it beside the players name. I like the look better, to me having the tag above looks weird.

Its three…. The only thing that would make sense for combining some is the Guild Creation with the Tag Color selection anyways.

Merge it into the main form. I went out of my way to cut down on the forms for a reason.

Here is version two of ZE's guild system. This shows it in ZE's actual source and with the Guild Master NPC used to make guilds. Later players will need to pay 250k gold to the Guild Master to make a guild but for BETA testing they will be free.

Pretty cool system. How are ranks worked out?

Right now its just a real basic rank system. There are three guild ranks, Members(1), Council(2), Leader(3).

When a player makes a guild they are set to Leader, When another player joins the guild it sets them to Member. The Leader can then make people Council or make Council members just a Member.

If you look at the newest Guild Window

The edit button beside where the GMOTD is, is only visible to Council members and Leaders. Also only Council Members and Leaders can see/use the Invite and Kick options.

Only the Leader can see/use the Ranks and Disband options on the guild window.

Also if a Leader wants to pass leadership of the guild over to another guild member they simply change the other members Rank to Leader and it will change there own rank to Council and set the selected member as the new Leader.
