Patrick
Use some shading other than black. Try to go from a darkish brown to a brown tint for the trunks. Invest in the time of putting more detail into those trees such as leaves, branches etc. It's much more easy on the eyes, and effort if the light source comes from the top left.Remember there is a dark, medium and light shade basically. Also, your stuff isn't realistic. Fences aren't really rectangular, they're a bit wonky an bent. Try finding some palettes by asking around, I can't really help that much there. Grizzy
so even if i left a black outline around everything it would look bad? bc i was going for more of a cartoonish look but if u think it looks bad then i won't go with it. but i'm redoing all the fences now. i noticed after i put them up the trees need some shading, but im slowly figuring it out lol. Patrick
No, 1 pixel black outlines are sometimes fine, try one with and without.I'm talking about the shading causes the black outline to be more than 1 pixel thick.
