crzyone9584
@QWERTYUIoP the friend has to be a real player character name along with being online. If they are not online the list will not show them. Also you can't add yourself as a friend.

Just to confirm, it's the Player name, not the Username, right?
crzyone9584
Yes. the name that appears above the character ingame is the name you want to use.

Guest
so i have this working, but i noticed you can add the same friend over and over again. not really a bug but something to be aware of.
crzyone9584
i never updated the code since i first made it. It doesn't have all the checks. Its a easy fix. all you have to do is check if the name is in the udt for friends and if so exit the sub.

Magnate
I don't suppose this has a private messaging feature, such as clicking on the name and sending a PM?
Yxxe
@Magnate:> I don't suppose this has a private messaging feature, such as clicking on the name and sending a PM?EO already has a Player Messaging feature. When you click on a valid name in the friend menu, add:```![PlayerNameHere]```to the chat box, where [PlayerNameHere] is the name of the player you clicked on. janpan40
Sorry foe double post but you know what would also be cool, the players name in red text if they are offline, and green if they are online. shouldnt be that hard to do…

Or at least how they had it in 2006\. I really liked that system.Adding a friend to your list, showing if they were online or not, and being able to click on the name to send a private message.
