Pokemon Hobbie - Show Off

Not that I am officially making a game of any sort I have been working on and off with the Pokemon Engine that I WAS (Not anymore) going to release but never finished. I am just showing off my progress and want to know what you all think. Although pictures are nice I screen captured some videos. These are UNCUT and UNEDITED.

Here is my latest one, as of April the 10th….
As Miguu suggested I have began and almost finished the keyboard input throughout the whole game, The only place left is the PC. A lot of bugs have been fixed and some graphics have been updated slightly.

That's pretty neat. You should fix the Pocket Monster's sprite overlapping the box when the battle ends. +1

I think you could fix up the speed of the battles (faster). Also, avoid using mouse-click buttons for the moves. That was a major turn-off for me in regards to Pokemon Cyrus. You should make them navigatable via arrow keys.

That is what I am currently working on, making them look better but start out faster. The whole fading idea is part of that process. I am going to make it look more like the actual GBA battle style and of course I will add arrow/keyboard controls to the battle system and then the pokedex, inventory, etc.

^^Audio swap is in progress but I am posting early anyway :D

Getting better? Any other ideas or suggestions?

I agree that battle speed should be (faster), trust me that plays a big role, otherwise I love the game its self.
