Greendude120
It doesnt throw any benefits to be using it. Infact, newbies would have a hard time learning it. We have all the tutorials and scripts here on the forums to help newbies understand vb6\. why use 2010?
Ruins of Hell
Yes it is. Anything is possible if you do it yourself. As far as I know, nobody has any intention of doing so.
SawQuart
Another one of these threads? Can we have a sticky post or something so all these repeats stop popping up?
janpan40
I think i might do that, just for every1 who would like the better tools and can understand the code.

gdog12356
i think he means, transparency. That wont happen unless u make it use directdraw 8\. So even if u port it into 2010.
Godlord
@Gianni:> i think he means, transparency. That wont happen unless u make it use directdraw 8\. So even if u port it into 2010.DirectDraw 8, DirectDraw 9, DirectDraw 10 and DirectDraw 11 are all non-existent. DirectDraw has been discontinued and the last release is DirectDraw 7\. Also, transparency isn't a feature offered by VB.net or _any programming language_, but by APIs like GDI+, Direct3D, etc. and can be perfectly done in DirectDraw 7 as well, with the help of an alpha blending DLL written in Assembly/C.@janpan40:> Would it be possiable to convert EO to Visual basic 2010.> if it would be possiable that would be pretty awsome considering the extra features.Yes, but VB.net wouldn't be a good choice at all (cfr. all the replies I've ever posted concerning VB.net et al.).Regards, Stephan. Robin
If you're asking this then you can't do it. If you're wanting someone else to do it for you then you'll be waiting for a long time. Stop trying to re-invent the wheel and just make do with what you have.
