I don't even know what the hell you guys are talking about because Kermerd keeps deleting his posts >_>

But anyways, I just got VB6 and everything is running smoothly. All I need to do is create more basic sprites and the dungeon tilesets, then Sauros and I can set up a development server. The Alpha server will not be up for a while, so please don't ask for testing. The development server is just so that we can experiment with new features together and colaborate, maybe map later on.

We need a programmer still who actually knows VB6 by heart, unlike me :P

**Update**
As promised, I will now explain the new system. There are 2 new stats, Will and Concentration. Other than these 2 things, the engine systems will relatively stay the same.

In order to reduce grind, the main focus is learning new spells. When you go see Oracles, you are increasing your Will. Will is a percent. The more will you have, the more damage your spells have. When the bar is full, your spells are more powerful. Each time you cast, your bar goes down just a bit.

There is another stat called Concentration. Will is "intelegence" renamed. Concentration affects the power of the spell. There are no Concentration levels though, but rather catagories, "Learning", "Intermediate" and "Expert". Each spell has it's own level. the more you use the spell, the more your experience level goes up.

Thanks, I was having some trouble coming up with the 'middle' thing. I actually went on synonym.com to look for one :P Great suggestion though, I'll use it.

Some customs from a guy on DeviantArt, Inquisitor's world map tiles, and custom Breeze sprites I recoloured and edited.

**Update**
The story will be based off of Scandinavian Folktales. You play as a Witch/Mage figure, and defeat various creatures, like trolls, which prompt you with riddles and get in your way. There will be many more creatures than trolls though.

The dungeon tileset is finished. I edited a tileset I found on DeviantArt, so I will give the guy credits when I post the screenshots. The dungeons be sidescroller-oriented, while the world map will not.

Those are more sprites. The only sprite I personally did was the troll.

Just as I took a pic of the dungeon tileset, I realized that the tiles don't go with breeze at all. I'll need to revise them tomorrow.

The troll is mostly a recolor fyi, I just changed up up the colors, some shading, the eyes, and the loin cloth :P

I may go full custom on everything. Considering that I'm not amazing at graphics, expect a lot of redoes. I just want this game to amazing.

With that being said, I'm not sure if I will use VB6 in the future. It's an amazing platform to start on, but I want this game to be something more than the typical scum I see around here. I'm dedicated to the idea, and I want to learn how to make it the best that it can be.
