On the sudden topic of URL links not working properly, why does this keep happening now? Can any Admins explain it to me?

Yeah. I've been reddit'ing for a while now. I like /politics but that's for a different board ;)

@Erwin:

> Eckhart is true, there are also alot good Articles on it (but writting in 2001~2003) which are very useful for making a game.

Articles about mathematics/algorithms have very little relevance to their dates at all. The only old articles I wouldn't use from there are the ones that talk about libraries, compilers, and computer specs because those all have changed the most.

Sure, but the GD.net subforum is about Game Design entirely. All the information there is 100% valid, but some of the articles/ideas may have been 'done' already by other games, or perhaps don't fit with out modern beliefs/politics.

A lot of it is also kids complaining about some shitty game idea they think will be the next CoD.

xD
Yes, a lot of GD.net is little script kiddies trying to achieve greatness, but to be honest the Game design forum is really nice. Some of the main posts may be stupid in theory, but there's plenty of great ideas there. I don't think I've actually seen a retarded post in the Game Design board. There are some that don't get much attention though, which is a shame.

I've seen quite a few moronic ones. I don't mean to bash GD.net though. I visit there often.
