  1. Are you sure? Because that error really tells us that one of the two is different. :P
  2. What exactly would the benefit of that be over just the mobile version of the site exactly though?
  3. Nothing some TLC can't fix. :) Just keep trying and ask for help where necessary! We've all had to begin somewhere.
  4. > 2GB actually, noobs lol. It's my CPU that's the problem; 1.8ghz. Man, even my laptop has 16gigs. > Oh and people shouldn't donate for these perks. I think that should pretty much be apparent to anyone that understands how donations work.
  5. I don't mean to sound discouraging, but there is a lot of wasted space on your UI. You may want to reconsider its layout. :)
  6. Might need to be more specific on the processor type, there's at least 7 AMD-A10 series processors I can find with just Google's auto-suggestions.
  7. That's much more stable! Sticking around 56-58 the entire time right now. Movement sometimes get stuck when you switch between directions too quickly, but the movement is definitely getting there. :)

    Event reset

Switches are temporary memory, I believe. Variables, on the other hand are saved with the player's data. But I'd have to dig into the source to be sure about this. I know I've never had problems using Variables though.
  9. Possibly! Nevertheless I still think it's not bad of an attempt so far. :) Better than I could do in a webbrowser for sure, haha.
  10. It's still struggling between 30-60 spiking like crazy, especially when it sends/receives data. (e.g. on movement events). On first load it's on a solid 60fps, but moving once makes it spike rapidly again.
  11. It's a weird one, but I imagine its the same as the animations not displaying when killing a mob with a spell in the past. Something to do with the way these animations and sounds are handled, they're tried to an NPC slot, but if said NPC dies (reset to position 0,0) the sound is still tied to it rather than their old location.
  12. I do believe this is done within the class files, and the provided class editor should help you with this. But in any case, if you do end up wanting to modify the source code, VS2008 is not compatible with VB6.
  13. The path on the runtime files installer doesn't make much of a difference, as all the files go into your System32\SysWow64 folders (x86 and x86_64 respectively). Are you running the installer from a network location, or a local drive?

    Eclipse Worlds

    > OMG! Its pretty good! I've been testing couple hours and I must say I love it. > > I'm wondering if Its there any way to use .png images for gui graphics. If you manually render stuff, sure. VB6 does not support such things on its own.
  15. Cant you set a scale for the texture in whatever terrain system you're using? (Or scale it prior to applying it). If you do ever put up a public build, I'll definitely give it a shot. :)
  16. Are you sure the X and Y coordinates are passed on properly from the server though? The client tends to blindly do what it is told, after all.
  17. Hoooooly cow Chrome does not like all those images. But looking good!
  18. Honestly by stressing out over it yourself and lashing out as well you're not helping any. People will be people, just leave them be and live your life.

  20. That'd be a 100MB/s.. Mentioning pure megabytes is just going to make people assume you mean memory.
  21. Also a 100mb VPS aint gonna run Windows + Eclipse.

    C# Updater

Cleaned it up a little bit. [http://eclipseorigins.com/community/filehost/a7614024be1f6e9ebd31c900c66cd3fe.zip](http://eclipseorigins.com/community/filehost/a7614024be1f6e9ebd31c900c66cd3fe.zip)
  23. It should be in GetMaxPlayerVitals, but there's no easily configurable option. It's all hardcoded math that you'll have to edit.
  24. Interesting, but I'm too lazy to travel to America of all places. I quite like my backwater little countryside. EDIT: On a more serious note, I'd probably just end up snarking at people all day. LOL
