A good writer needs to check the grammatical coherence of your sentences (i.e capitalization, grammar, spelling,etc). No matter how good your story is, if it looks a mess, no one will read it. Below I took what you wrote and just added some fluff to have a basic starting point. Me in a nutshell; 

Use a spell or an item to summon them.

It would be strange for the damage to be constant over and over again; 20 damage, 20, damage, 20 damage, 20 damage, etc. The RNG for the damage formulas was made to add a little fluctuation to each hit (to show if it's a glancing blow or a more severe hit) It wasn't made to substitute equipment, stats or crits.

Your stat determines what % you have to crit,dodge,etc. So if you put the points into that stat, you yield results. The RNG is just like rolling percentile dice in a roleplay game to see if you succeed on the roll. Instead of RNG, using straight formulas without a RNG it turns into a min/max game even more so. (Look at WoW) Just curious, how would you have it determined?

These are the graphics I'm using for Labyrinth Hearts. They take a bit to get used with mapping them, but I really enjoy them. Well worth the money. Also the Peculiar Gentleman was named after me. ^_^

Since you purchased the Gold License, you can get server hosting for $4.95 a month. I have mine hosted with them and I've haven't had any problems. They set everything up and I don't have to worry about it. ^_^

The "talking npcs" in fact are not npcs, they're Events. The story, music, graphics…honestly everything is Final Fantasy VII. My biggest complaint is Mia Sexabolic... Very sexist. :( Anyway that's just my opinion.

Essentially on page 1 we have 3 things going on; 1\. The npc informs you she's giving you a sword. 2\. The sword is added to your inventory. 3\. We activate the "Third Switch". After activating the third switch, page 2 is now activated (page 1 deactivated). The npc now informs you she's given you a sword already. >!
