  5. I'd send you one, but the HoN website is being a bitch and not letting me sign in without changing my password, but it won't let me change my password.
  6. fuck YES that's awesome. I kinda wish the name hadn't given it away, but it was still awesome.
  7. That is the exact opposite of my school, given it is a technical school. We spend more time in the lab programming than we do in lectures, and the curriculum is all relevant. Go Bachelor of Technology degree, suck it Bachelor of Science degree.
  8. Holy shit… not only is that game awesome, but that's the first time I've ever heard that song and not wanted to claw my eyes out and gouge my ears out.
  9. I'd say owned is overused. Served ftw
  10. I'll send some keys along to you. I don't know if they allow you to send two at once though. –Edit-- Also, I believe you get three invite keys when you sign up.

    Ubuntu!

I found that I liked fedora more than ubuntu, but that's probably due to the horrible linux machines at the high school I went to.
  13. Ok, here's a question for all those with tonnes of video games and pre-orders and all the consoles, etc. Where the hell do you get the money to pay for all this? I know people who dish out like $400 a month on video games for the console (I don't know many who pay for PC games) yet the only game I've bought in the past half a year was Star Wars: Kotor 1 for $10 off steam. The two main reasons I don't pre-order are: A) Too expensive. B) If the game is crap, I'm out $60.
  14. I have 6 keys for this as well if anyone wants in. I'd actually suggest League of Legends over Heroes of Newerth. Same game style, but it's free and was made by the same people who made the original DotA.
  15. I used to play that… became a daily grindfest. Fight, heal, fight, fight, work, work, eat, sleep, poop... eh...
  16. Jesus… I want to play this...
  17. Subway, all the way. Toasted Italian BMT on Italian Herb & Cheese bread, yellow cheddar, Double Meat Double Cheese, lettuce, cucumbers, light on the ranch, please and thank you.

  20. it runs way faster and crashes way less than vista. also, it gives me this weird vibe when compared to vista. Vista seems so dark and heavy, while 7 seems light and fluffy.

I had a dog named Cheyanne. She was a yellow labrador retriever. She had two litters of puppies, the second of which we kept one of, cheyanne's son Buck. Cheyanne had a hard life. She was hit by a car, twice, she had cancer multiple times, and she had congestive heart failure for about 3 years before she died. She was a trooper though, and always enjoyed her life. We still gave her walks on the beach outside our house until that last few weeks before she died. I remember that she would roll in anything that was either brown or smelly, seemingly just to piss us off. She also had a habit of eating everything. We put her on some medicine after some health problems that I can't remember, but one of the side effects was hunger… one night, she left our house, walked down the road about a km, and brought back an entire apple tree branch, then ate all the apples off it. She was always happy to see anyone, and me and my family loved her fondly... We put her down in 2008 after she lost the strength to leave her bed. Then there's my dog Buck, son of Cheyanne. He's a momma's boy, who whined at the end of the driveway whenever we brought Cheyanne to the vet's. She cleaned his ears everyday. He's still alive, but he has arthritis and degenerative mylopathy, which pretty much means his nerve cells are breaking down and he's loosing muscle control. I remember that we would throw sticks for him on the beach and it would take us around 6 hours to tire him just a bit. He's the brightest dog, nor the most food savvy. He ate his food as fast as he could, then tried to puppy dog eye us into giving him more... which never worked. Sometimes, he would finish his food, then shove his mother out of the way, eating most of her food before we could stop him. We don't think he'll last much longer, possibly another month. I also have two more dogs, Boeing and Piper, or Bobo and Pi. They're both quite young, but Bo is Pi's father. This is already a long post so I'll just say that I also have a cat named Lucy, who we've nicknamed Lucifer because she hates everyone and everything.
  23. Netbooks are designed to run xp (which is why they come with xp 90% of the time), basic internet, and not much else. Linux actually ran the slowest of the three. But I'm getting off topic. One of the things about windows 7 (and vista for that matter) that I just didn't understand was the UAC. All it does is ask you for the permission of everything. Most people don't even read what they're clicking (example: Licensing Agreements for software, UAC, ect.) and will just click allow anyways… it doesn't seem to add much "security" if you ask me. I turned it off within the first 5 minutes of booting up 7, and even then it yelled at me for another 15 minutes to turn it back on.
