Read the post carefully. It says in client. This method had been tested on 4 ppl and it worked for all 4\. Clearly u dont follow instructions.

I dont always recommend this but since your a very new user, try Hamachi just google it. You and your friends can connect to your hamachi network and then all play on your game server. If you rly prefer port forwarding, go to portforward.com (or portforwarding.com , i forget) and look for your router. Then look for Eclipse. Lastly, read the instructions. Make sure the port you type is the same as your port in the config file of your server and same with the config on the client folder.

This isnt ur project is it? Anyway i played this a few weeks ago and its the best one made. It was lacking items and certain abilities but everything else was great.

They do exist in Canada marshy. I can buy them at the local grocery store. Altho they don't make special halloween ones. Those pics are awesome. Make one of every forum member

Lol. Your filtering process is rather strict for a team getting a low response rate. You can barely get anyone interested and then you complain about their english. Im at the college level, i know english, but this is a forum and im on my phone, so who cares. Anyway i was offering the help cause i felt pity for this topic. I recommend you close it and try again at a later time cause clearly, no one wants to help hitler finish his card game.

Shared profits? How much do you expect to make lol. Your game and website will eat up your profits (if any). You would need atleast 100 players since only a small percentage of ppl pay in games which use the f2p business model. At that point your game would have to be excellent, capable of holding 100+ players 24/7 and have no costs on site/game server.. Its already not realistic but to push it even further: you should learn about copyrights. .mp3 files require a license so you should use .ogg. using graphics and images like spell icons, sprites without proper copyrights is also illegal. The project is great but you should rly remove the [semi-paid] tag and the part about profit. Good luck!

I hate ppl who bump their topics so many times in just one page, however: Im working on my own project but im very active and so i could potentially help the card game but i need more details on it. Mainly: is it vb6 or vb.net? Ive always wanted an eclipse game like those card games on facebook. The problem with those ones is that u need to spend money to get decks which gives annoying advantages.

Screenshots or tiles, both are illegal. Are you every going to get sued? no. will you get a letter to shut down ur progress? no. (unless u get like 10k users which wont happen)

I do believe there will be ways to bypass this. Possibly some new torrent program that is more private than bit torrent. Or using proxy apps that u install to use a different ip. Even programs like hamachi can temporarily change ur ip. You could turn it on to download then off to play. Also, what if the user calls the company and says "Okay if you are going to slow my internet, i'll switch to XYZ company that doesn't have this system". This is actually easy to do because laws in certain places (i know its like this in Quebec) make it impossible for companys to charge u for terminating a contract before the end. Thus some companies will choose not to adopt this system in order to steal some of those clients. I'm not worried about the system stopping pirate downloads. What i am worried is that people get scared and stop uploading the files. There will be a shortage for pirates to download from.

Dude don;t worry about it. When you buy rpg maker, they give you the right to publish your game using their graphics. So who cares if you use their graphic on their engine or another. I'm sure theirs terms &conditions doesn't specify "cannot use rmxp graphics on a free open source engine" Also what happens when so many people and so many engines use your graphics, it becomes very hard for enterbrain to start sueing everyone. I really wouldn't sweat it. Even pokemon doesn't sure pokemon games, they ask you to shut down your game (which i've heard happened to pokemon games but nvr to rmxp games)
