  1. Go on google, type PokeMMO and download the game. It's the best of all the ones made and its the ONLY one that is legal becauss it bypasses copyright rules. (Using Roms to grab ressources) Your game will either suck or be shut down by nintendo.

  3. You can do both. In Diablo 2 using efficient leveling up techniques, you could gain several levels in one play session and still get 5 attributes +1 skill point. The trick is to make the point for stats worth less. They improve you slightly or gives you access to high stat req items. It felt rewarding each level, and levels were frequent. We could even get faster lvl up areas as a high level because we knew the xp zones so well. It is critical that the last handful of levels take a long time. Reaching level cap is lame if everyone can do it.
  4. LOL Notch knew C++/java way more than you know VB. And he studied and hired people to help him. Please don't compare yourself to Notch. Also, you don't know how to do it because you can use Width/Height and enter pixels. You can change the measurement unit in vb if you don't like twips. If you can't figure out such a simple task, don't make a custom version. There are plenty of better versions made by better programmers than you. Hell, even I program better than you. Save yourself the time and put this project down.
  5. You post constantly in the Q&A board asking how to do this, do that, fix your corrupted map etc. So im not sure i want you to "clean up the database code". No one will download this. You can stop releasing weak updates where you change a value in MAX constants or fix your own bug.
  6. Although I agree with the MDO sounding good, i don't really see how 'Magical' & 'Dynasty' fit together. A magical dynasty? a family of wizards? I think you should maybe change the word magical. Just my opinion.
  7. Although the work is great; your prices are outrageous for this community. I'm sure companies like your prices but this is a website which offers a full free 2d mmorpg engine. No one here has the money to spend 5$ per frame for 1 sprites of 16 frames. Thats 80$ for 1 sprite for the low end of your price range. These arnt compagnies these are people. Most of which are students in highschool or college with an income of 0$ to 200$ a week from a part time job. I do not doubt the work, in fact it looks good. But this may be the wrong place to look for customers. You guys could of atleast made a special price for us because of budget restraints or even better: Sell a mega sprite pack to the community and we all buy it by pitching some money. The graphics will become availible to all members of this community. Just an idea, good luck with your business.
  8. The title is still misleading. I was expecting a engine stripped of all tutorial board features. something even simpler than EO.
  9. Drinking potions outside of combat is stupid. The whole point is to heal to stay in the fight longer. And please people, stop comparing stuff to real life "oh you cant drink two in a row" or "you need to pick it up and drink it it takes time".. really? You want potions to be realistic but you dont mind the dragons, spells, massive inventory (does he insert a shield up his ass to carry more gear?), respawning from fatal blow, etc etc etc. Potions were introduced to heal in combat because when ur out of combat u can just go to town and heal anyway.

Just my thoughts. What are u saying… I played D2 for 10 years. There is no cooldown on potions. Are u thinking of D3? In d2, you can spam regular potions, or full rejuvs, and only full rejuvs instant heal. There is no reason to drop them then use them. You can hit the buttons "1" up to like 4 ot 5 times depending on your belt. Maybe ur getting mixed up with another game.

  14. Look at how Path of Exile uses potions. So far they've done everything right. It's what Diablo 3 should have been.

  16. Custom versions topics should be approved by admins. This is bad, incomplete, and will lead to nothing useful.
  17. Why did you post this if it has nothing yet. Post the topic and work when you have something completed. Also, i think that the translation system should be in place before any release because otherwise this engine will not be recommended for new users who on top of learning vb6 and eclipse, must also figure out what a that polish word means and what does it do.
  18. I think this is going backwards. Making a 'new' engine in 'vb6'. Going from 'multiplayer' to 'singleplayer'. That's just my explanation as to why I voted "No". that being said; Even though i personally don't see a use for it, I think (depending on how the end result looks) that some RMXP fans may move here for an engine that gets updates and support. Cause i dont think RMXP has gotten any update since its last release in 2003 or so. It's not a bad idea but I do think it's going backwards. Perhaps makin this in vb.net would be the smartest thing to do. Then eventually we can also have a multiplayer vb.net engine and kiss vb6 goodbye.

  21. Ce quel te dit cest que cest possible mais il faut que tu patch tes maps dans client>maps et enlever le code qui update les maps. Tu pourra simplement ne pas editer les maps en temps reel. Tu doit plustot les editer et sauvegarder dans un autre jeu ou copie de ton jeu puis les inserer dans tes patch. Ton programmeur pourra faire cela. Hes not the only one using EE. the-kris has fixed his ee too. If he hires a programmer the programmer shouldnt have a problem fixing either version.

  24. Lol. @fogger: i played it. Its fine. Watch some utube footage if you need reassurance. @duke: i just finished saying i played the game. Most abilities were completed. However a few were missing on certain pokemons (like Teleport, Flash) http://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/7103-working-and-available-pokemon-abilities/page__hl__abilities What wasnt started was items. You could get them but not use them (holding items, not evolve stones or potions) By far the best pokemon game u can find.
