  2. I hate and can't make maps while scrolling around lol. I need to be able to see the full map and for this I need a client that would support the full view for editing the maps. Not sure if its possible it sounds easy if its in the source but I also need it compiled for me

  5. Working so far testing in game Okay I'm back that was like the most amazing application in the world and I'm dying in love. Its a little dark LOL but amazing work. Now you said if I edit the map like do a simple grass fill and copy and paste map 1 400 times and rename it all it would not work? lol its easier I find to work with grass base. Again amazing thanks so much EDIT: I mean water base I think last time I calculated it was 167 land maps and 233 water maps
  6. Yes I think all the engines do that. The thing is I'm wanting to generate 400 linked maps. Reason for this is because I would die linking them by hand. In fact I have done it before and it was few less clicks :( ![](http://soulkeepersonline.com/kane/help.jpg)
  7. I get compile errors but then again I don't even know programming usually know how to compile but who knows there is prob stuff missing since its windows 7 after all.

I thought was odd none of the engines have this since heck so many people making 100's of maps and linking them by hand. I will be posting in my WIP soon with some info on my project I even have maps made up (world map)

  11. Full 10 page tile set that's legal for non commercial use and full credits. I read I can't public my game since its using tile sets that can't be legally used. So I would like to know if anyone's compiled a set or not.
  12. Is there any kind of Map Generator or pre linked maps? I wanted to make a planet of 20x20 so 400 maps to start with. I would say that would take me a lifetime to make that many maps but I can't find anything on here about pre linked map sets or a tool that can make it for ya.
  13. Thanks and does anyone know if the java one will support true seamless maps. I could design my game as a open MMORPG or a more closed game and that is the reason I ask. I don't like scroll maps lol.
  14. 1) So I hear 2.7 then I hear stable then I hear 2.7 stable. Whats wrong with 2.8 why is it even unstable? Is the point of a 2.6 2.7 2.8 2.9 and such or I thought hehe. Anyways could someone explain what version works the best and such. 2) Also what is the max maps you can have? The base my game is 400 for the first map 3) is there a seamless maps yet? or will there be? 4) The java version that is coming I can still upgrade right I don't have to start over? Anyways any useful info I should know would be good. Thanks, Kane
  15. amazing work. I wish someone could create a feature list basic things like vb6 to dx7 or seamless maps housing anything thats included in the engine.
