  2. Yeah I don't want some crazy one where causes to many issues but be nice with something. Stop people from you know copy/paste they gotta do some work :P maybe raname lol

Not even anything crazy something simple like super simple with maybe a .dat or something and some byte changes or change so it needs to be at least converted back. keeps away pesky kids who like editing things and playing with stuff. Also be nice to have a simple code both server/client have in them to link them. If the server does not see the code the server does not accept the connection.

  8. How do you guys get a good balance? I'm going start out with just the one class right now just your general Warrior maybe even have a classless system where anyone can be anything they want. But the problem I'm having is Balancing my game or understanding how to Balance. For example if your naked and spawn a npc I will call Scorp with 2 dmg and 2 def he will own my level 1 char out of this world. I'm wondering if anyone has tips of advice or maybe done a study on keeping your game challenging but balanced at the sametime.
  9. Now I'm not new to the world but this was ether a strange one time glitch or something else is playing with my mind lol. I installed my client on a clean windows 7 and then ran the updater and then ran the client.exe something I have all setup and been working on my main machine for days now. Some reason I got a error like you forgot to add the libs or something in the data folder. But they were there and all the ones below poped up saying missing. Even though I hit okay on all the errors it connected to the server just fine. The question is this must be a slight but how could it be caused and will it happen again? Also what would you recommend for it not to come up again on a fresh installer on a fresh pc. zlib.dll msinet.ocx cmcs21.ocx richtx32.ocx tabctl32.ocx mscomm32.ocx mswinsck.ocx dx7vb.dll

    well someone has to confirm if its even possible in dx7 but dx8 for sure. I don't know if dx7 offers the correct capabilities to perform such an operation. You have to understand back in the day voice on the internet was like our cams over computer. Crappy quality not crystal clear always issues :P
  12. Thanks Soul and yes that is correct. It would make map editing for scrolling maps a 100 times more easy on me and my team. Being able to fully the full area rather then part of it helps a lot.

  15. Wicked Marsh I can't wait till it comes out! I might just learn some c++ and just delay working on the VB6 since I'm starting off recently. Better to wait usually will see though. Keep up the good work and thanks for all the updates its great to read and learn more on it.

  20. Frig if only someone shared that on like E Stable lol maybe be lucky and the java or this one will come with it if in demand. But I love how everyone is working on so many projects like java and c++ its great to have so many options.
  21. Yeah Marsh is right on it. That is what I'm hoping someday. It's what they do in games even 3D though it's done different but it streams chunks of the data at a time and not all of it. That is my wish someday hehe.
  22. I'm confused haha there is a Java one being made and a C++ one? This one have DX8 and I guess if so PNG? Maybe someday this one will have the seamless zones
