The game isn't multi-player, only 1 player. The game has an infinite number of rounds and you get to unlock towers at certain rounds. You will start off with an amount of money which you can use to buy towers. When killing a slime you will earn bounty (money) from them. Each tower has a delay, damage and range which can often be improved by upgrading. You can upgrade your towers a maximum of 3 times. Also, some towers have affects such as burn, poison and slow.

@Scott: > An easier way to do it might be to use a web language for authentication, send a GET request form the server like page.php?user=username&pass=password than have it give back a true or false after checking it against the sql database would require a lot less integration into the engine seeing as the database stuff happens in on the web server. Using mysql_real_escape_string(), regulating requests and having a password variable would resolve all security risks. However, I don't recommend it. @Scott: > Well that's like saying because some one is black they are lazy, eat watermelon and will never make anything of their life. It's just not true… This isn't true?? @S.J.R.: > …using GET-variables instead of POST-variables to pass the user data to sign in. Both GET and POST are the same security wise.

Slime Defence is a game made in Java that me and my friend are working on. The game is your average tower defence and involves defending from slimes! ![](http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/vot40afo/Selection_045.png) This game should be ready for release in about 3 days time. Stay tuned for updates.

Great, I have the stupidest citizens…

Instead of creating a really complicated menu in the console why don't you just let the user make commands. Just have a help command that lists all of the commands the user can make.

@Jungle: > That's a lot better. I'd still recommend going with the hallowed eyes look Kusy suggested though. They are hollowed..?

The sprites angle doesn't work for a platform game, they need to be facing completely left or right.

Looks ok, maybe another colour would make it look better. Using the 'noise' effect is a good way of making grass IMO. The quality is fine but in future you should use [Eclipse's file host](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/) to upload your images.

A scary mouth would be good too.

@Metallica71: > I can't even see the tilesets..? Maybe because you need to click the zip file and download them?

"Lets make a game. What about? No idea, lets just eat drugs and see what happens." LOL

- There are way too many objects which makes it near impossible to even get past level 1\. The objects also break into too many pieces. - You can cheat on the game by holding left arrow and space. (This is the only way to get through the levels, even with this you can only get to level 10 without getting hit instantly) - Would make it easier for players if you made the window size bigger. Other than that it's a fun game.

This style of tiles look really good. @Jungle: > Random dots generally don't work. I suggest using wavy sand like RMXP. Agreed, a wavy pattern would work well on the sand.

Is that what he's going to do?

@Soul: > Fixed that for you. You may have been confused by the colon, I was talking about there possibly being an item called background in the properties window that you could change to false.
-
You shouldn't reply to necro posts, I got warned for this last time. Oh crap.
-
@Soul: > >The Lint > > Ignore this guy. My bad, for a second there I thought VB6 was good and had useful features such as this.
-
Surely there would be something like 'background: true'.

My music is AMAZING, thanks so much!
