I might setup a dual-boot with windows, but as I play a lot of games Ubuntu isn't ideal, it's possible but not everything will work flawlessly.

Why does this seem higly unlikely, and it's probably not a whole lot, just find out the average bandwidth it uses and divide a little.

Have you configured the client and server to use the correct port, have you pointed the client to the correct IP/Domain Name

That doesn't mean anything, are the server and client both running, and have you forwarded your ports correctly ?

I appreciate the effort of making a tutorial like this but first of all loading the gui BMP file into the executable increases its size. And second just uncut footage isn't that good, good thing it helps people but if you keep making tutorials, narrating, and cutting it up, etc.

For certain programs it just feels better to buy it especially if you think the creators did a good job (Why else would you buy it anyways). And yeah 500$-800$ is way overpriced.

I'm with Robin on this one, making art using a tablet/paper is doable, primary way of making art, but with sprites you encounter size problems (If you have small sprites), and making it look good would almost require you to use it as a reference instead of as a trace.

Secret of Mana, talk about awesome games, the detail in those tilesets was/is astounding.

It's hard to show off auto-tiling as it just looks the same as no auto-tiling, however it works which is awesome, noted I need this on my engine. Oh yes, nice maps btw.

Hmm weird that an array of arrays isn't supported (Or is a multi-dimensional array not an array of arrays ?). Also templates are a tad flawed with MSVC it will allow them to be inside a class while with for example GCC they can't be.

Woah Baron it's been a while since I've seen you post, ah well. Back to the matter at hand, I give you credit for trying but not more than that. The colors are too bright and don't fit grass/water, I suggest trying again and trying it through some pixel tutorials.
