Origins or eclipse? i only like origins because o its unique map size ability (i can make it whatever size i want) but it lacks a ABS ond autotiles (i think they are coming soon) also, origins uses winsock and eclipse dosent. my wuestion: wich one will handel more players while using less bandwith? (i can only use 7 GB er moneth for my server, 10gb in total)

  4. I couldent fi d them o the site, and i dont mean the .exe installer. i mean the actual dll and ocx fils. does anyone have a ZIP arcive or just the files unzipped? (i ned all the library files) because i am building afully inegrated installer for my next version with the game, c++ redistributrable, and the library files (plus some custom goresock ones i have)
  5. if you make it in c++ woulent that allow someone to be able to esily (well, mor esily the now) port it to 3d, or something like that? not complicated 3d stuff, but simple stuff like the classic runescape or old psp games.

  7. how much would ONE player use? (and the connections, again, they are not players, they are connections. bots, AI scripts, VM, exct… im also trying to test load. NO 200 people do not play my game at one time. (i wish) lrn2read

  9. How much bandwith does eclipse origins use? per player. For example, a pretty big map (fullscreen) with an advanced action battle system and gi-res pixle art? I usually have about 10-20 connections on one map and about 200 in the entire game at one time. no I have not bothered to measure…..
  10. Alot of spelling errors in the repl from that company… i use a dlink router and they have a build in ddns feature. i dont have to install no-ip or anything my router does it for me. :)
  11. in response to robin, i could program it but i dont know what project origins is scripted it…... vb? C++? assembler? LOLCODE? i dunno so i cant program it.... wait... now i feel stupid... its in VB... the scource is included... -facepalm- im retaded. BTW Robin, i have to say the version you made is much bettere then the original eclipse... only one problem with it.... there are no admin levels. (like level 1 2 3 4 5) when can we expect the next version of origins?
