  1. Title says it all. I need to open a map.dat file and clear the attributes if possible. Let me know, thanks.
  2. Dangit. Is there a fix coming out soon? It was my main map, I put an entire continent on one large map.
  3. Deathbeam (Or anyone), I read through this article, but didn't see this mentioned. I had a perfectly stable map. I added two additional resource (tree's) to the map, and saved. The server closed with 'Subscript out of Range' on the following line within the resource logic. ![](http://www.delrith.com/images/error.png) Now the server will no longer boot without this error, and I've lost my map. Do you know a fix or a way around this? This is on the latest version of E.A.
  4. Really good looking version! When it's DX8, I don't think it will have any direct rivals (Aside from Nightly Release). Good job!
  5. Is this version going to get a larger game screen window?
  6. Trade system doesn't seem to work.
  7. Valid point, but it assumes that we wouldn't be able to change this. Robin did, and his runs great on lots of different platforms. I realize this would require rebuilding a lot of the source, but it is possible to do.
  8. As the title states, this is a thread for me to judge if there is enough support to complete the CS:DE Source so that it's a relatively stable (for what it is) platform to use as a fuller-game-screen alternative to EO2. I realize that this release has several issues, but there is a lot of genuine interest in it. Robin himself has recommended against using it, but I still believe it could become stable enough to be used on games. I also realize that Robin has some strong opinions (oddly enough) on his own release, but as he is offering no alternative to the cookie-cutter EO2 Engine, I just wanted to post a single thread gauging interest in this idea. Feel free to post comments, Robin I await your comments and maybe even an alternative as well? I really wish you'd continue to develop an open-source (albeit dumbed-down version) of Crystalshire - but I can also see why you wouldn't. -Nic
  9. There are several features in CS:DE that are missing front ends. The source in general has quite a few bugs, and should only be used by someone who knows how to use visual basic.
  10. This version looked great. Why would he stop developing it? It probably could have beat most other versions out there! Anyway, if anyone else is interested in developing this edition further I would like to help. And yes I read the post where he was willing to release it to an experienced coder.
