    Help with EO 4.05

Then your friend must have some serious issues with change, as it's honestly not a big deal. You get used to it after about 5 minutes. But anyway, I've suggested a keybind feaure some time ago. It may make it in soon.

    Help with EO 4.05

To clarify, the keybinds have changed. WSAD is movement and E is interact/fight. Mouse movement CAN be disabled, however. But this has to be done in the client configuration files.
  3. Isn't it ironic that on this day, all Americans say the date as the British would? Anyhow, happy fire-work-driven birthday. :P

    OUYA

There would be no issues with it, seeing as you'll have to rewrite it from scratch anyway. You can't get windows applications running on Android. So it'll all be your work.
  5. You've messed up something really badly there. I would revert the tutorial and try again.
  6. I reckon the only way to fix it is to contact the author and see if he's still around, then describe the problem proper (e.g. what happens aside from "it doesn't finish" this is NOT descriptive enough for anyone to bother searching for the issue, what kind of a quest is it, when does the issue occur and what settings are used for the quest) as I doubt anyone else knows what's going on with that engine. The downside of Custom engines is that, they're custom. Made by someone else and not oficially supported, so anything broken in them may be harder to figure out as a smaller base of the community has actually bothered using them.

    Port Forwarding…

That's a local IP. It's only valid within your own little network. (In my case that number would be my Wife's computer) It's used to identify computers within your local network, there's been a few different classes of IPs 'unlocked' for local addresses, 192.168.x.x being one of them. Most home networks are set up to use it by default, if you give it to your friends it's likely they'll just try to connect to a computer inside their own house. The real world outside your house network uses a completely different IP, and there's some funny stuff going on in your router to 'translate' the IP addresses to something usable in the outside world, or the local network depending on whether you send or receive data. Instead of me going into the full details, if you're curious I'll leave the wikipedia links down here. It's a lot of work to explain. :P [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address) [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_address_translation)

    Port Forwarding…

It simply drops ping requests, nothing else. It makes it so people can't ping you remotely, it doesn't affect regular connectivity though.

    Port Forwarding…

I'm honestly not sure, I've been looking into your router model but all the pictures and information I find uses a whole other interface. It's confusing me quite a bit. Are you sure you don't happen to have any documentation laying around? Although you could always try and disable Stealth Mode, I have no idea what this does. The rest should remain on and running as it's mostly protection.
  10. Cleaned out most of the unessecary stuff. I think the posts we have up here now cover the warning fairly well. Let's leave it at that and give the guy his topic back so that he can earn some vacation money. :P

    My game's race

I have to ask, is that a walking turd with a slice of melon on its head?
  12. You yourself use Localhost, some routers block requests from the inside to your outside IP address. So to be safe, just use localhost or whatever internal IP your server has. And others will not be able to connect to localhost as it's a loopback to your own NIC. It's not going to work for others, other people need your external IP address in the config, and you need to have portforwarded 7001 to allow them to connect to your server.
  13. Stealing a sign at a car shop is still stealing, regardles of the difference in items and shop inventory. But anyway, I think we've covered the part where it's mentioned he has a history of stealing material often enough now. There's no need to cause a whole discussion over it again, it's happened and people are now warned it has. If it arises again in the future we'll take action then, instead of bashing him in advance. If he wasn't welcome anymore altogether he would've been out already.
  14. Cucumbers aren't made in a factory, I think he's messing with you.
  15. Aherm, I would like to point out that being negative against a now free service is not going to help you. If you have constructive criticism to share with him, and pointers on how to improve I would suggest you do. But otherwise, stating it simple stinks is not going to help him nor you get any further.
  16. You can make it so the client expects to see a commandline argument somewhere, and without it it'll close and just open the laucher.

    Port Forwarding…

Right, if you hit Firewall you should be able to hit a button similar to "Add new user-defined program" and enter the details there. (Remember that Eclipse uses TCP only, and set the right internal IP!) When done you can use this website to see if the port can be reached: [http://www.canyouseeme.org/](http://www.canyouseeme.org/)

    Debug Mode: Error 1

Che k your log files, it should tell you what error it ran into.

    Port Forwarding…

Sadly, Port Forwarding is different for every router. So there's no magical guide that makes it work on all of them. If we have your Router model we may be able to provide more detailed epxlanations though.

    Grey Screen Issue

Are you sure the library file installer completed the installation properly? Because those are the exact errors that would pop up when the DirectX8 dll isn't registered properly.

    Screen resolution

Oh, it is? Learned something new then I guess.

    Screen resolution

There is no current way of doing this with 4.0, however it may eventually be added should the demand be there. (Or so I would imagine)
  23. Actually been anticipating this for so long I stopped caring. It's discouraging seeing new updates on something that looks more than playable and then him just saying "Nope" over the past two years. :P

    So I bought Gold…

Shouldn't be too long, but in most cases I would say it can take a few hours. It might speed it up by sending them a PM though.

    So I bought Gold…

Orders are processed manually, it's the fastest to just approach JC or Amish.
