  1. Robin's history collection inside of the official downloads board.
  2. Ah, thank you, it seems to have resolved the issue. Good man, thanks for the helpful reply and fix! Cheers ;)
  3. Oh, okay, thanks. I'll see if that works, I'm hoping it does!
  4. Component 'MSINET.OCX' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid. I do not get that when I run my autoupdater, but other people do. How do I resolve this on their ends?
  5. Just make the .ico and use vb6. A.k.a. what Whack said.
  6. Thank you for this download and more stable version of the client. I was only about half way down the list with doing it myself, but now you just simplified that. Thanks for the time saver ;)
  7. Ah, I hadn't thought about it that way, to be honest. I was thinking about the spell already using a sort of AI, almost, with path mapping. My temporary fix is just a simple range nerf :P
  8. I have messaged you about my project and needs! Thank you and please consider it!
  9. @Synergy: > If you're playing a game (e.g. minecraft, WoW, anything), and the server crashes, what happens to the game? > > That's your answer. In other words, if you close the server, well the client can't connect to anything. Therefore the client crashes, or tells you the server just crashed.
  10. > It's still conceptual, to an extent. > I call it "Odeny Online" > > Odeny online is a dungeon crawler with Mario-type graphics, sprites with an rpg feeling, dungeons you'd expect in an intense action game and community areas to just let the sun set. Currently, I have a friend who tests and will hopefully end up being a part-time staff member. I have a skilled mapper, along with myself as a skilled mapper. I have an in-training mapper and he is also a good advertiser, along with myself. In fact, I could make the game active once we start moving down the line of development (if all goes well.) > > The classes and storyline are still in concept, along with the overall map feeling, way we might be able to gain some funding and sounds. Sounds are slowly coming along, but music is more finalized, to a usable state. > > We need people with time, skills and a good attitude to help us get somewhere. > I work on motivation, which I'm sure the rest of my staff work on. A good attitude promotes motivation. > > Anyways, that's a bit of what I'm going with right now, I VERY MUCH hope you decide to join the team! > > Feel free to ask anything related! That's a little of the behind information on Odeny. That was written a week ago, but now we have progressed much more. We're at an alpha testing stage and already have people telling us how playable and enjoyable our game is. I come in search of possible mappers, or possible programmers. If anyone can help out with this project, please message me on this forum, or reply to this thread!
  11. How do I make spells obey blocking? I don't want people attacking with spells through walls, it's sort of what I'd like to call unfair.
  12. A Pokemon game is sure to get shut down by Nintendo. Why would I work on a project that might get shut down?
  13. Skywater is very good at dungeons.

    Vb6

Yes, you need the service pack. Just use Robin's tutorial, it's bossin'
  15. I have a silly question. How would one make his character in Eclipse Origins v2 insanely over powered? Right now, I have maxed out items and I still don't feel I'm powerful enough…
  16. "A virtual machine (VM) is a software implementation of a machine (i.e. a computer) that executes programs like a physical machine. Virtual machines are separated into two major categories, based on their use and degree of correspondence to any real machine. A system virtual machine provides a complete system platform which supports the execution of a complete operating system (OS). In contrast, a process virtual machine is designed to run a single program, which means that it supports a single process. An essential characteristic of a virtual machine is that the software running inside is limited to the resources and abstractions provided by the virtual machine—it cannot break out of its virtual environment."(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_machine)
  17. I installed vb6 today and ran into this same thing. Just install it and restart. After restarting, the installer will open and start going again. No biggie!
  18. Yes, now I'm doing okay, it "suddenly decided to work." Arghhh.
  19. Well, I tried a portable version of vb6, but it gave me errors while trying to compile, even though the coding is solid. Do the portable versions work well? If not, maybe I'll have to "find a cd of vb6" ;)

    Stepping up.

Looks fun loving! I very much like the style, it's bubbly!
  21. Obvious leech is obvious. Try making your own art, even if it's terrible, it's better than stealing.
  22. People can edit your images, get over it. If you're that worried, put a splash image over it.
