  1. Hey Rob, im looking forward if someone is able to fix this bug that it's happening to every original eclipse version derivates (this bug is also happening to your version). The bug is related with the chat window refresh. It only refresh correctly for the last connected player and for the other players it stays like 5 seconds to refresh when someone sends any message or it refresh when the last player moves. Sorry if i can't explain the bug correctly.   3. Hey, today i found a serious chat window refresh bug. The problem is that the chat window is just refreshing for the last connected member. The other members' chat window will only refresh after 5 seconds the message is sent. If you don't know what im saying, try this (this bug doesn't affect CS:DE or Eclipse Advanced, but it affects the official version and nightly eclipse version): Open your event system 2.3 version or nightly eclipse 3.0, or dragon eclipse 2.0 version of eclipse and connect with 2 characters. Write something with the last character you connected, and see what happens. The other player's chat window is not refreshing after 5 or 6 seconds. This seems to be lag, but it isn't. So if someone can helps me (and a lot of people) making the chat window refreshing everytime someone writes anything, it will be useful. Thanks for reading this.
  4. -Sorry if i write this in spanish. It's a bug report and i need to express correctly to report the bug: Eragon, he descubierto un gran bug que tiene esta versión. Bueno la cosa es que si abro el juego normalmente y escribo en el chat todo va bien. Pero si abres un segundo juego, y te conectas con un segundo jugador, cuando escribas en el chat con cualquiera de los dos, tan solo aparecera al instante lo que escribas en la pantalla del ultimo conectado. Bueno si no lo entiendes del todo abre dos clients a la vez y te conectas y vas escribiendo en el chat. Verás que solo se ve el texto al instante en el ultimo conectado y tardara unos 6 segundos en llegar a los demas, a no ser que te muevas con el ultimo, que entonces se actualizan todos. Bueno pruebalo para entenderlo mejor y haber si consigues arreglarlo.   5. Hello, i post this because i wanna report a Ryoku Hasu's buff system bug and to ask for help to create a disconection system. -Buffs bug: The bug is simple but i don't know how to fix it. When a player with a buff or debuff disconects and then connects again, all the bugs and debuffs of the player dissapear. This can be used to get rid of the debuffs that other player cast to you disconecting and conecting again. -Disconnection system: I also thinked to create a 10s or more disconection system. By this way players won't be able anymore to disconect just before a monster or other players kills them. I thought this: If a player has been fighting or being attacked in the last 10(or more) seconds, after disconnecting, there will appear a message saying: If you have been fighting in the last 10 seconds, you won't be disconnected until 10 seconds pass, and the player will still appear before the 10 seconds pass. __ Thanks for the replies/helps.

Hey Eragon if you're going to fix the pet bug please let me know how to implement to my eclipse version because i have added lots of features and i don't wanna have to add all of them again just for the fix.   12. Hello. A friend downloaded the eclipse game i uploaded, and the first error he had was the dxv8b.dll . When he downloaded the eclipse nightly runtime files, then this strange error appeared: 2005530516 (8876086c) automation error I don't know how to fix this… Anyone else can hellp? My friend re-installed all like 2 times but the error is still there. I also searched for this problem in this forum but no fixes… Please help with this. ---- Also I wanna know if there is a way to fix and install all the required runtime files at once because i don't wanna make people that plays my game install lots of things for play.   14. I have an other small bug (or one of my fails) When i change the dragon eclipse characters folder for my characters (there are 486) and then i open the engine, it appears rte 9. I think it's related with the number of chars, but i don't how to fix it. Can someone help me to fix this? PD: I'm spanish and im doing my best to talk properly in english. Sorry if u didn't understand what im writing. Oh, and very nice engine, im using it like a base for my game.
  15. Excuse me, What should i do if i don't wanna the players to active the same bug more than 1 time? I don't like that because a player can have 5 buffs of the same type and that will decrease a lot the in-game difficult. Can someone helps me?   22. Does this menu works as well for EO Advanced 3.0? I tested it but in EO advanced the way the buttons are made is different and i don't know how to make it works..
  23. All works good: I modified all the client and server side scripts to make the buffs work. The problem is that when I use the magic that makes me have the buff ( editing the vital, duration,etc.. as the tutorial says), it just appears the Casting Mage red text above my character but i don't see any change in my char states..

  25. I tried all u said but it doesn't work… The problem is that a player can use this bug to win all the items he want... I tested adding exit event processign and the bug is the same. First will happen the actions +1000 gold and +1000 exp and then de stop event processign in all the windows oppened by pressing control. I don't know how to do it, but i think that the solution is to add to the scripts something that if you have opened an npc conversation and open another (by pressing control 2 times), then close the second (the last opened).
