The virgin you were trying to save went the other way.Purpose of the Show Off board always was to present your work, hear few honest comments, some valid criticism and a lot of liez you need to learn to filter. And by filter I'm not saying ignore… if enough people tell you the project lack creativity, maybe you should reconsider - maybe you already learned what you could from it and it's time to work on something that could some day end up being something valuable, because this might not, and while learning experience is always good, it might as well come from making something creative. I might not appear to, but I am not ignoring the [valid] criticism.I never really started this to learn anything, I just wanted to take a short break from working on certain things, and it was a refreshing little side-project. I'm pretty much done with anything I wanted to refresh on, and I don't think there's much point in putting up a DL link, as nobody really cares. Anyway, if I ever do decide to make this serious, I'd probably re-code the thing in C and SDL, I'd redo the graphics with Anosora, and we'd actually develop the concepts into something that's viable as a game. They don't really need to be creative in order to get their product out."Independent" game has to be creative or it exist not.It's a fact. Stop defending them solely because they have the the holly spark of programming in them, they showed their work to people who know less about this amazing skill and who therefore are not basing their opinions on it. If you post your coding exercise to people who do not code you are going to have a bad time. The people have spoken. It's a minecraftoteraria clone.
