SkywardRiver
**Eclipse Skywyre****Current Version:****Alpha 0.0.2****What is this?:**Well, I'm glad you asked imaginary stranger! Eclipse Skywyre is a new custom version that I have begun working on. This version started on an edited version of Eclipse Mega, thank you Ertzel and everyone else that had to do with making everything up to there. (There is a credit text file in the download)In this custom version, I would like to try to focus on dynamics of building and playing the game. Freedom is no object in this version (or at least it will not be)**What happened to Eclipse Chronicles?:**Well, sadly, Eclipse Chronicles was shut down some time ago due to simply to many mismatched desires and features. Simply put, after too many people gave me requests, I tried to do them all. BAD DECISION. The engine I produced in the middle was probably better than it was in the end. It became an out-dated, buggy, over-complicated engine that had to be laid down. So, this is a new engine that will hopefully stay useful and dynamic.**Features?:**The features in Eclipse Skywyre will increase over time, but for now they are everything up to Eclipse Mega and these:~Dynamic Class Descriptions: Jaxx[http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/index.php?/topic/129759-how-to-use-jaxx-dynamic-classes/](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/index.php?/topic/129759-how-to-use-jaxx-dynamic-classes/)~Movable GUI Frames: Ertzel(Unlike Eclipse Mega, they only move with right-clicking and holding)~Randomized NPC Exp: Domino_(Assign a min. and max. exp and, when killed, the game will give you a random amount of exp between those 2 numbers)**Downloads**Version 0.0.1 [http://www.2shared.c…se_Skywyre.html](http://www.2shared.com/file/B5zTtMxK/Eclipse_Skywyre.html)Jaxx

SkywardRiver
LOL Read the news file if you download this. But yeah I kinda agree, I'm all for diversity but….. What if everyone came together and made a super engine? Just a thought

Ertzel
I'm confused by this line:(Unlike Eclipse Mega, they only move with right-clicking and holding)How is that different from my system? It only moves the GUI when your holding down the right mouse button also….
Likestodraw
A custom version of a custom version of a custom version of a custom version of EO. How much farther can we be removed from EO in these?Post screenshots.

JohnPony
What if… Now this is just me thinking out load, but what if someone started a custom version that actually optimized Eclipse rather then just throwing in random unneeded features.![](http://i3.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/newsfeed/000/322/848/6fd.jpg)

That's a stupid idea. What's wrong with you? Eclipse is an amazingly fast engine that doesn't need any optimisation. It needs more awfully coded features to make it _even_ faster. Likestodraw
We don't need to IMPROVE what we already have, we just need to cobble together more features that will only get ripped and have the credit to us stripped from it.
Guest
Um, no you couldent be any more wrong. Eclipse needs to be imporoved in every way, shape and form
SkywardRiver
Ertzel, not sure if you know this, in your version, as I tried to drag a skill,. 'fire', for example, into the hotbar it would also drag the whole window with it. Also, yes it's 'just another edit' right now, but later on, I would like to move away from the generic features and add a whole unique array of new options. Hey, I did make Eclipse Chronicles. This should just be a modern, finely tuned version of that.

'fire', for example, into the hotbar it would also drag the whole window with it.Was that in my old version of Eclipse Mega, or using the tutorial I posted? The old version I didn't mean to release was buggy but the one used in the tutorial works off of right click only and doesn't cause those problems. SkywardRiver
Yeah I guess so. The tutorial works fine except for a misplaced code tag. It was an easy fix though
matthewpull
I still prefer Ertzel's version. No offence Jaxx, but ES is just going too far off of an official version. Also, EM has a version 1.0 already.
SkywardRiver
No offense taken. I never want this to become the 'official' version. This is just focusing on dynamics, and will be a nice option in time. Today I am planning on adding some new custom features, no spoilers' but I believe they will be liked eclipse wide.
