First Sprite - Review?

Hello friends, I was bored last night and decided to make a sprite for a potential upcoming game, I made a Medieval Soldier.

Please do what you wish, whether it be criticize or if you want to mess around with it, go ahead.

Is this his right walking sprite? looks strange if its a forward view. Hes very small, was that the style you were looking for? Its going to be very hard to pd sprites of this stature, unless the minimal detail/old school look is what your intentions are for the entire game.

O.o …. all i can say is "msdos game Jil. jil's new bf"... srry its nice but might try umm idk lil bigger and shades? o-o but yours looks alot better then my first one xD.. good luck and i hope u do well  .
