Demosthenes2k8
I would love to see somebody make an Eclipse client for the Nintendo DS, and if that works, a special version of the server, also for DS, that stores the maps on other player's flashcarts when they come in range. That way people could exchange their games wirelessly.Even if the server wasn't doable, the client would still be a great addition to the DS homebrew scene. Also, more people might play the games! shrig94
I don't think this is possible, unless we use memory expansion with cartridges….Interesting idea, but i sadly don't see it happening.
Demosthenes2k8
What about an r4 and a 2gb microSD card? That would have enough room for the current EE 2.7 server and client.
Jax_Dragon
The DS doesn't have the functionality that windows does, nor can it read EXE/DLL files. So unless windows comes out for DS, I dont see Eclipse coming out for DS.

kender the great
the files have to be in a NDS format. there are formatters around. and for the DS thing, it would cost way to much money to make the games, unless they formatted it themselve and stuck it on their own ds and chip. dg1423
@Bone: There's a neat little invention out there called Notepad, you ever heard of it?Anyways, I was gonna do this a while ago, I got up all the tools and things, but I got lazy and decided not to. But I might sooner or later, I'd probably make one for the PSP first though XD
Demosthenes2k8
Why the PSP? With the release of the DSi, the PSP will fail miserably! Also, notepad FTW!
Sylexus44
Demosthenes are you ripping your name off Ender's game? (hey that rhymes)Sorry about the off topicness. Anyways my cousin is using a program to make a pokemon game with a game engine then convert it using a software (ill get the link later once he gets on gtalk) into a DS file. Then you can apparently play it. If this is not what you were wanting please tell me.

Demosthenes2k8
I'm using PALib anyways. It's not like an engine, it's basically a whole programming language! The hard part's converting over the stuff from VB to C
