DX8VB.dll problem

**Hi everydody !**

**Hummm, i have a problem :**

**I have Eclipse Origins 4.0 official version and when i would enter in the game, i have an error. This is it :**

_**Could not intialize Directx. DX8VB.dll may not be registered.**_

**I install the runtimes or manually the DLL, not works … And I test with other engin (FR*G Créat*r our S*per MM*RPG B*X) not works too.**

**Why my computer have a problem with DX8VB.dll ?**

**Windows Seven**

**32 Bits**

**2 Go Ram**

**Please Help Me !**

Hello,

Make sure you run the runtimes installer as an Administrator. While this does not always solve the problem it may help.

follow these step :

1/ Download DX8VB.dll at this site [www.dll-files.com](http://www.dll-files.com/)

2/Extract it to C:\WINDOWS\system32

and

Start >> Run >> regsvr32 dx8vb.dll

HIT ENTER

then try to run your eclipse

regsvr32 dx8vb.dll <<< WRITE THIS AT THE RUN BOX.

Generally running the runtime installer as adminstrator will take care of the issue. Downloading dlls from the web can be 'sketchy'.
