I suggest you use pokemon cyrus as an example. Btw good luck with this game, as I say for any games, but this will req. much coding if you plan to incorporate the actual battle system, and don't expect someone to fly from the sky begging to code it for you, thats just a little warning. gizmo1 Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 no offense lol, but if your going to lead a game your going to need some programming experience, unless you are very lucky and pick up a programmer. but i statisically don't think this game will go to far without a programmer, programmer is the top priority to start a project anyways, look at PCO, cyrus is main admin and he had to learn programming, same goes for me, i'm making 2 games, PAO(Pokemon Amethyst Online) and YWO(yugioh world online).and ninja tech, pco doesn't own all, they only have about 12,000 members, look at POL, and my game is going great right now, when i get it into open beta(expected this weekend, and only took me about 3 days to code in systems very easy in vb and easier in C++), so pco doesn't pwn all lol. plus POL is doing thier game in Visual C++ 2008 and PCO's game is only done in Visual Basic.net 2008\. ;) i know my game won't go as far as either one of them, but you never know….. :P . If you can get this games programming started, I can map and/or host the serverThe sample is pretty plain. I could do a little bit better probably.
