Eguroth Posted March 28, 2009 Author Share Posted March 28, 2009 Hello,This is a tutorial for those who cannot port forward but still want to run an online game.This shows you step by step how to simply get around port forwarding.1) Download and set-up Hamachi. For a download google search "Hamachi".2) Once set up register at [http://www.no-ip.com](http://www.no-ip.com). Once registered download the DUC.3) On the no-ip website click "Your No-ip" then click "Add Host".4) Set the settings as DNS Host (A) and for the IP open up your Hamachi application. At the top you should see an IP, in the No-ip add host sheet. Insert that IP.5) Once you have added the new host go onto your DUC and click Options>Connection then check the two boxes:Override automatic connection detectionandOverride automatic IP detectionAnd on the 2 drop down menus under both boxes choose the setting for your Hamachi server.Credit for the next part goes to Cheatah:First Click right button under and click "Preferences"After that click on "Detailed configuration"After that put your Hamachi IP into the "Server Address" and "Port" leave it 8080 (Or else the people who want to connect to you can't)Click "OK"Click "OK"Click OK and you should be done.If it wasn't for Cake telling me about this i would of given up making my game :PSo credit goes to Cake i just made the tut.Any questions PM me.
