HELP bug?/questions

Hello, I have some questions for you guys.

1\. When I restart my server my character had suddenly no sprite/face anymore, it is just blank… How can I fix this?

2\. Where can I add menu music? I can't find it in the config file.

3\. I don't want that players has levels can I delete this? So, yes. how?

1\. check the character folder and see if the image files exist for the image you've set your sprite into.

2\. dump your music files into music folder the engine should be able to pick it up. If not, rename your music files.

3\. thats impossible since its closed source. Your best bet is to hope they set a boolean for it with the config.ini file.

Okay, but the image file exist. What now?

When you view the admin panel, set your sprite to the desired number you want to view your sprite as, you have to be sure that the image in the gfx>character(sprite) directory is a numeric value. (1,2,3, and so on) To match with the memory.

It is all correct. When I make a new character, the character sprite/face is also blank. Maybe it is a bug :s

What format are the images? They NEED to be *.png files.

They are all in png format

Edit: now is the whole map white when I login + When I typ my username/password  there is a sqaure at the end

That's a server error, and won't impact the client at all. (Small issue that has no effect on the actual workings of the server either). Anyhow, are you sure your sprites/tiles are powers of 2? And what GPU are you using?

Yes I'm sure that it is ok. 

GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 or Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-310M CPU @ 2.40GHz  (4cpu's), - 2.4GHZ

Did you change anything before restarting the server? Because if you haven't your GPU may be having some serious issues.

Yes, i changed only the female sprite to 2 in classes.txt

That shouldn't cause such an error to occur though, although honestly I would suggest you try to use the supplied class editor and create a new class file with it just in case something did go wrong.

Class editor don't work it says: array is nothing

Right, try replacing your edited classes.ini file with a standard one. Maybe yours is just not working properly?

On a sidenote, you can disable the levels by simply setting max level to 1 and remove all the level text and the exp bar with the GUI editor, but i think the custom GUIs only work with gold

Try opening the client configuration and changing GFXMode= 0 to GFXMode= 1

If that doesn't work, what does your client error log say?

Nop don't work. and the client error log says nothing O.o

Try updating your video drivers then, because with everything we just checked it's very unlikely that it's related to EO4.
