That would only be the 1st main quest!
There could be many side-quests, and more of the story to follow.
It could be something like opening a bridge to a lost region of the world once the fading was reversed.

I always wanted to make a game in which the world starts out with practically nothing. A few simple tools and some basic items. Then it is up to the players to expand it. Say you want to make a sword. Then you and the other players must build a blacksmith and make the hammers cut the wood for it. In the end you will make a whole world that spawns from say only 10 maps. As the game progresses players can even invent things which they can only sell and such. That would be a epic game.
