Website: http://affiliates.ultrahosting.com/cgi-bin/clickme.cgi?exec=koningdunc&site=site1  <<< please use this link than you will help me too
Hoop it's usefull for you guys to ;)
Need to disappoint me? well here's normal link: www.ultrahosting.com

**Now the Tutorial:**

1) How to get started..
- First if you don't have a credit card you will have to create a paypal account on www.paypal.com
- After they have send you some pennies, you will have to confirm this on the website of paypal, now your paypal account will be ready..
- Now of course you will need to buy a server from Ultra Hosting, you will have to make an account by them to access a control panel on there website (you won't always need it, it's a sort backup for you, if you get your server one way or an other blocked)

2) After registration
- You will have your game client of eclipse and your server client.. Turn your server client into a zip file, go to an uploading site, were you can download from too.. I prefer these: http://www.rapidshare.de/ or http://www.rapidshare.com/ ..
Those sites do have a max. of one download a day, if you are a free user, so that's why those 2, for if you made a mistake or so.
- Upload your EE server on a site, open the website on your server.
"you will get an email once your server if ready (says to give them 48hours but when I woke up the next morning it was already done) your username and password for the server will be in there"

- First you will have to access your server of course do this by going to start, then programme files, (by me it's dutch trying to translate so mite be diffrent) Bureau Accessories, remote desktop..
- You will get an pop up to connect to a external desktop.. You will need your IP here.. go to https://portal.ultrahosting.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/Default.aspx and log in with your customer username and password.. not the username and password you got from your email.

- once logged in go to VPS servers and your server will show up..
- copy the IP to your pop up from before and press connect.
- now you will get a window to log in to your server, use your data from your email to log in..

- now use your download link from your game server to download it from the site onto your server.
NOTE*:You will probably have to add the site to your list once a pop up ask to press continue or add.. press add and make sure to un vink the Require server .. this zone, then does press add.
- If you're using rapidshare you will probably need to download Flash first.. should give you a link.. download and install it and should work.

3) starting your server
- After you have downloaded it to your server and extracted it. Use run as the following user, and type your username and password..
Now I recommend to use taskmanager by right clicking on the taskbar.
And go to processes and look up your Server.exe and change priority to high..
- now your server will be running and should be fine.
NOTE*: Change your IP from your client to the IP of your server
NOTE*: Best way to log off: In task manager go to users and right click on your self and press disconnect

Thanks for reading my tutorial  ;)

yea sorry about the ran XD
Well I wasn't sure were to put this but did know this would help some people..
Most will probably want to know how to host a game without having there PC on day and night, and this was a cheap one I could find.. And doesn't matter if you pay with €'s paypal will convert it for you.. For the people thinking it's in US so nothing for me, I live in Holland and works fine..
- but OK how does it work? -

You buy it, no contract so does could buy for 1 month does like I did to test it…
You will get an email and blabla bla ;) Then it Will say your server is ready..
You go to your start and then accessories en look for remote-desktop type your server IP in and connect with your login name and password.. voila, use rapidshare to upload your EE server and download it from your server.. run it and then press shutdown use tab to change to disconnect.. not log of or shutdown what so ever, and most of all don't press the "x" and leave it it will lock your server and require you to reboot it..

But the wonderfull thing is is that there's a live chat you can ask everything there straight away.. they helped me out so most of tutorial will be by them if you have problems ;)

You'll won't lose anything by clicking on it. There's nothing wrong with helping other people out. He'll just get comission for bringing in a customer, you pay exactly the same price. What do you have to lose?

If you still don't want to use his link, delete it and go directly to their main page. No need to make a big deal out of nothing. If your still having trouble, click the following link: http://ultrahosting.com

-Thanks

Eh, I don't care about the site, I just don't appreciate being force to use an affiliate link.

Post a direct link to the site, then post an affiliate link explaining how it helps him out.

Flaming isn't a good way to start out on a forum.

I hate seeing this pointless fights over an affiliate link. Either you click it or you don't. But always leave a real link the website itself, and always tell people when you apply an affiliate link.
