Nayte
Hey guys just wanted to make a post about some formatting issues I'm having. I've downloaded my game at work, and ran the client - the attached is the issue I'm having. The photo for my GUI is there, but only the formatting of the GUI is stretching. The red dot is where my cursor is when I click 'sign up'.Is this just an easy fix using the GUI Editor? Stein
It's even simpler, actually. Make sure their DPI settings are set to normal.
Nayte
In photoshop or the preferences? And 72 is the default DPI for my program - is that normal?I wasn't even aware that the DPI effected anything until you actually physically printed something haha. The more you know! Stein
No, the DPI settings of Windows itself. The DPI of the images and whatnot doesn't affect a thing, but each machine has a DPI setting as well. :)
Nayte
How abouts would I go and change that? I can't find anything in Display Settings - am I looking in the wrong area?
Zetasis
Just got to the start page and in the search window simply type dpi. Something about making text bigger/smaller or something along those lines should come up. Just click it and you will know what to do from there its pretty self explanatory. Stein
It's in your control panel, on Windows 8 it looks something similar to the following:![](http://i.imgur.com/05P5Tnz.png)
Nayte
Ah - I got it! Freakin' vista. Thanks guys! Didn't even realize computers had this option on monitors as old as that one was.
Stein
It's an Operating System thing, it's completely unrelated to the supplied monitor as it just scales a few items internally before sending them as output to your monitor.
