SawQuart
@Zetta:> it costs $100 per code review for iTouch/iPhone apps. So unless you people would pay for it, it is not going to happen. You could always release it to Cydia…

And actually, they don't download app from Cydia unless it's really important such as Flash Support, Updates, OpenSSH, Command Line(dunno what's it called).I, myself, owned a Jailbroken iPhone 2G and unjailbroken iPhone 3GS. The reason why is, I know that I'll messed up the 2G one day by downloading app from Cydia.Sincerely,Rithy
Xavi
@Zetta:> nope. You cannot run Java on the iPhone. Its against the TOA of owning an iPhone/iTouch.What were they thinking??

Microsoft Visual C++.net is not the same as gcc C++ or Microsoft Visual C++ 6\. Objective C for Appleshit probably causes the same issue.
unknown
Yeah.. Objective C is completely different. The guy who built smalltalk helped make it, it's nothing like C or C++. You need the iPhone SDK to develop anything on the iPhone and a developers licence to deploy it in the app store (which costs like $100 a year).I think there are third party tools for devloping in different languages but nothing directly from Apple other than Objective C. Homicidal Monkey
as I said like ten posts earlier, it just isn't convenient to program for iPhone/iTouch unless I got a shitload of money to burn.
