Marsh Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Just a heads up if you want people to be able to connect to your game you are also most likely going to need to set up port forwarding. or look at some of the alternatives such as hamachi. Mess up ur connection.. trust me took me dad an hour just to get the settings back to normal..Also one more question about connecting..If someone being aonnying on my server and wonted to ban or kick.. wouldn't it affect everyone who useing me ip?Or will it just affect THE account?PM back. Drummerpete Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 You do not understand.They connect TO YOUR IP.Everyone keeps their own IP.YOU have "IP1"Say "Bob" connects to your server by saying "connect to "IP1"""Bob" has "IP2". "IP2" is now connected to "IP1""Bob" cheats in your game. You ban "IP2", but all other IPs can still connect.Do you understand now? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
