My new items are small

My items appear very small in my game when i equip them is there any problem whit the format? they are already .bmp

64 is not an option but if you mean 24 they are that size already

Could you please attach a screenshot to the thread as I'm not sure of what you're talking exactly. Also save it as PNG using Microsoft Paint or any other image editor before attaching the image to the thread.

Your items don't match your sprites. The item paperdoll is just laid over top the sprite image, so if the sword isn't in the right place, it'll look bad. It's a matter of moving the graphics to fit.
