Qazek
EO use DX7 where there is no Alpha (only Red, Green, Blue colors). DX8 use ARGB (alpha, red, green, blue) and BMPs files don't have transparency. Only way to get alpha blending is rewrite DX7 to DX8 XD

zidsal
there was a .dll that allowed you to use alpha blending in dx7 no idea were to find it these days as it was on the web a year or so back ;DHowever it destroyed fps so your best bet is to use dx8.editFound the.dll in old game backup*, uploaded it for you.http://rapidshare.com/files/408834209/FoxCBmp3.dll*Just adding that robin programmed all of this in for me so I have no idea how to work it XD. achap89
You realize you can just alter your source to allow a .gif and I know for a fact that gif has transparency.
