ES Server Edit (Version 3)

**_Version 3.0_**

Welcome to my ES Server Edit (Version 3)! I've edited Eclipse Stable's Server to make it more easier to use, including very unique features.
Let's begin with this **AWESOME** ES Server Edit!

When you load the server (edit) you'll notice something different!

Don't like Server announcements in white? Well guess what? Now you can make it in different colours!

Did you connect to your server from the client? Where's the connections and logins? Gone? Nope, they're in the 'Connections' tab!

Connections tab will prevent spam in the 'Main' tab!!! :)

The connections tab, will display Connections like the picture above. This will remove the content from the 'Main' tab in Chat. To keep it nice, and organized, including clean! **NOTE:** The connection tab will ALSO be saved to the log folder!

In the 'Players' tab I fixed the Player Warp box. Now you're finally able to Warp a Player from the server!

FIX: I fixed it so now you know which Map you're sending them to, which X and Y axis's you will warp them onto!

Also, go ahead - click a player, then click the 'heal players' button!

Custom HP, MP, SP, and EXP. Version 4 will have more :cheesy:

In the 'Control Panel' tab has some new features :)

Ban list editor - can be useful instead of finding the file to add/remove one IP!
>! Disable night will disable night and still will be the same time!
I added a 'Ban list' and 'Disable night' features. Ban list is where you can edit BanLog.txt from your server. If you check off the 'Disable night' it will disable night time for that Server Session (until you restart, close the server.)

Let's look at the Ban List editor…

You have 3 buttons - Save, Cancel and ?. Save will edit the BanList.txt; Cancel will cancel the edit - it will NOT edit it, and ? will display a little Window showing how to ban an IP.

Back to the Control Panel, are the Custom Shutdown and Restart messages (made in Version 2)!

You: David, what is the Lock system?
The lock system will Lock your server, while it is running. For example; My brother wants to use my computer, while my game is currently online…I could lock the server so they dont mess anything upJust by clicking 'Lock Server' in the control panel, it will minimize your server into the System Tray. Double click on it, and a window will ask for the password. Enter in the password! **NOTE:** The password is _**admin**_ you can change it to another password such as Billy, in the source… **NOTE:** To change it go into frmUnlock - double click on Login and there will be some instructions there to help you out!!

Before I show you how to download this, I will show you one very last thing!

Admin tools has some features such as 'Port' and 'PC IP' and 'Local IP' that will help you Portforward.
**NOTE:** Just like version 1 (or 2?) anything is blue text is copy-able - meaning instead of needing to retype it, you just need to highlight it and right click then click copy!!

Are you curious in what the 'Quick tools' 'Game tools' and 'Server tools' are?
Games tools: will display some info about your game - not very helpfull **NOTE:** More Game tools features will maybe come in version 4!
Server tools: will help you portforward, and let people to play your game!
Quick tools: will display some quick info of your game; such as; Max Players…

Curious in what the 'edit' button does?

A window will popup called 'Admin tools editor' you are able to edit your data from data.ini (SOME not ALL!) Such as Max Players, or even edit your game's version and name! **NOTE:** If you want to edit another data, not in the editor, you must do it manually!! Such as port!!

Done? Click 'edit' and …

How To Download ES Server Edit Version 3!
[First get a copy of the edit.](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/fccf4e3918dd5563c8c63a2ba4910039.zip) Extract it. Now copy the folders from, your old server (if this is your first time with ES or Eclipse, no need. Just skip this and run the program).. The folders you need to copy are; **maps, accounts, banks, classes, items, NPCs, shops, and spells**.. If you edited the scripts, then also copy them and paste it in the NEW ES Server Edit. **NOTE:** if you need help or more info, please PM me! **NOTE:** There is more info in _READ ME!.txt_ in the download!

Other Information
1) If you are getting runtime-errors while starting, or closing the server, please restart the server. If you are shutting it down and wont reopen it, then there is no need to. I am working on a bug fix, which should be Version 4..
2) If you need some help with adding/editing something such as the Unlock system, please PM me. I will reply to all PM's A.S.A.P!
3) Want to be on the credits list? You can but requesting an idea, or helping me with some new features!!

I like this a lot! It is a simple edit but it makes the server so much better! Before this I always hated editing the data.ini withouth closing the server first. Becase then, even after I saved, it would revert to the old settings, and blah… lol thank you for the conveience edit!

This is a great server edit!
For my requests i might have .5 on the number and that i just because it goes with the one before.
Here are some of my requests:
1\. Give one player an item
1.5 Give everyone an item
2\. Take an item away from a player
2.5 Take an item away from everyone
3\. maybe server built factions
4\. This ones a big one, maybe be able to edit NPCs, Items, spells etc. from the server, not just editing how much of them you can have.
That's all i can think of for right now! Hope this helps for ideas  :cheesy:
