EO utilizes ByteArray packets. That is the only reason.

I didn't use your pre-made graphics library from SE.  If you didn't use that then I will use the excuse that I don't have any time.

Why don't you stop making excuses and just admit that you're shit? A graphics engine isn't hard. I made one on the first day I started using Java.

lolwut. It's really not that hard. Even I was using AWT and got a graphics engine running within a day, and Fabio is much more talented than I am.
