Lukin
Made something quick, also included a metal palette. ![](http://i377.photobucket.com/albums/oo216/LukinT1/sauvalgodsword.png)The palette I'm using is from Kreator's sword tutorial, which I sadly can't find the link for. Otherwise I would, because it is a very nice tutorial.Anyway, what I changed was:Colored outline to match the colors inside.More saturated palettes.Shaded the parts of the sword as small pieces instead of a whole.Changed the hilt because I have never seen a sword with a triangular hilt.Changed the color of the hilt to not be of the same material as the part between the blade and the hilt (idk the word lulz.)That's about it I guess. Btw, as you can see, I suck at drawing metal stuff.

luriok
Lukin used the pallete from Kreator's Tut so I think OP should learn from that as well.
Lukin
Yeah, you would want to keep in mind that his palette and style is for the more "realistic" looking games though. (imo)And the actual blade I made pretty much suck because I am not used to such large blades. xD
luriok
Another thing you could try is removing the black outline and add an outline of the same kind of color.
