Admiral Refuge
I checked the packages, and I didn't see anything in relation to that; wait until Marsh or someone replies, they may know. Are you sure it's not a built-in feature? I may be just overlooking it. Ruins of Hell
No. We're using SMF 2, RC4\. Version 1 and 2 are pretty different.

Robin
@Chuchoide:> is it in version 1.1.12? I cant find it D:Then stop using such outdated software. Says quite clearly that we're using 2.0 RC4.
chuchoide
Oh u mean my version is older??? fuck it then, forgive my foolness >_>
Marsh
Your version is not outdated. We are using the beta version.
JSchilli1
Beat me to it. That's like saying using Firefox 3.6 is outdated because the 4.0 beta is out.-JS1
chuchoide
I just remade my forum, i dont know how to update…
Marsh
http://download.simplemachines.org/index.php?thanks;filename=smf_2-0-rc4_upgrade.zipThey recommend you dont use it on a live site unless you know what your doing though.
chuchoide
Thanks, but I just redid it in RC4\. Thanks anyways.
Robin
@JS1:> Beat me to it. That's like saying using Firefox 3.6 is outdated because the 4.0 beta is out.No it's not. That's a completely different system of versions.SMF 2.0 is completely different than the 1.x.x release. It's like saying EE2.7 is outdated because the Origins Alpha is out. JSchilli1
They're both SMF. It's not like SMF Evolution and SMF Origins. SMF is using a succession in their versions, as is Mozilla.-JS1
Robin
@JS1:> They're both SMF.EE and EO are both Eclipse. Your point?
JSchilli1
I could understand your point if Eclipse was just Eclipse 1.0, Eclipse 1.1, Eclipse 2.0, etc.-JS1
Robin
@JS1:> I could understand your point if Eclipse was just Eclipse 1.0, Eclipse 1.1, Eclipse 2.0, etc.Just because it's not numbered doesn't mean there isn't a chronological order. Origins is simply different because it went back to an early version and re-wrote a few years of development. It's still Eclipse. They both have a common origin. Plenty of software has been rolled back and re-programmed in the past.
JSchilli1
Ahh ok, I didn't realize 2.0 was a rewrite.Sorry, my bad.Although Firefox 4 _is_ basically a rewrite from 3.-JS1
