Trouble with music

iv manage to finally find something that would record in .WAV format so that i could make it into .MIDI format to get the game to read it but it came out very distorted so i was hoping any one knew if it was possible to make EO read .WMA (i deleted the stuff i was using because i was angry :P but i do have something that came with mny computer that records in .WMA)

I do not believe it supports wma, plus wma are such huge files its not worth it.

Edit: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,68358.msg0/boardseen.html#new will allow you to add mps support for map use only. If you know how to function vb6 or can get someone to add this for you it should be usefull.

well now i know how to convert it but how do i get the game to read it or does it atuomaticly read the files?

i posted in the topic i didnt get any errors and followed everything exactly and i ahve the converter but when i put the MP3 file into my music file it doenst show up in map editor
