The New World
Yes, it's an RTE.I installed the library files with the run-time installer, as well as manually using Regsvr32\.I'm running Windows XP Home Edition SP3, 32 bit. This is a clean copy of Eclipse Origins v2b. (Version 2 Beta)When debugging, it highlights any line using DS during the initialization of directx during the client loading procedure.I've also tried changing the Display Settings, yet to avail. Is my graphics card just terrible? Drakiac
I got an automation error when running my client, right when it started to load the directx. I managed to get rid of it by going to the clients config.ini and setting debug = 1.
Ruins of Hell
…debug=1 just ignores the error. You've solved nothing.
The New World
That did work. o_OI'll have to look into why in hell it did.
Ruins of Hell
Basically:```If Debug = 1 Then On Error Goto DebugEnd If' ... Actual code here...Exit SubDebug:'log errors, rather than actually doing it```Debug just logs and ignores errors. If this problem was related to sound, your sound probably won't work anymore. Drakiac
It was related to my sound… I have a retarded audio set up on my computer. Anyways, glad it helped!
Robin
@Yukiyo:> That did work. o_O> > I'll have to look into why in hell it did.Because it's debug mode… it's just a conditional error handler. As for the problem it might be due to your codec setup. Until now, that I actually look at it's functionality. xD
