aaaron
Tree looks horrid. Don't pilow shade. Shade as if you had a sun.The person looks sorta weird. Make the head a little smaller and don't really put a mouth on it.
koyiro1
@ýÅø†εÑÂ:> -Dont look at:> a)Tree (i made it for decoration :d)> b)Ground (check:a)> b)Face (it's just a base i'd say.)
Magdreamer
Its not retro, its bad.Learn the difference :/Don't just use the term retro to cover up bad pixel art.And you basically asked us what you can improve, but not look at what you've done. The only thing you have shown us is practically just@ýÅø†εÑÂ:> a)Tree (i made it for decoration :d)> b)Ground (check:a)> b)Face (it's just a base i'd say.)With that said, you really need a lot of work, look up tutorials or see how good pixel art is done. You can start with Pixeljoint or DeviantArt. aaaron
Still looks weird. Make the head shorter.
ToshiroHayate
He looks an hour glass with an egg head. You need to kind of make his head more round. Not an oval. Then work on making the torso a little smaller.
Robin
Stop doing 5 minutes of work and posting it. We don't want to see your half-arsed attempts at drawing. Plenty of them on the internet.Go read up on basic pixel art. Go read up on basic anatomy. Go look at some basic video game art. Stop posting useless shit. 6GreY6
I think robin is right.some sprites need really much time to made.i often spend 2-3 hours or longer making charactersi'm not good at making character sprites after almost half year of practicestudy hardeditthis is how retro should look ;p![](http://img820.imageshack.us/img820/1324/linkuw.png)
